    Evercharge

We are having 42 chargers put into our HOA’s stalls. Their chargers are the only ones that do load sharing across many chargers. (Tesla does , too but, not everyone owns a Tesla) $15 per month. Electric usage will be special SoCal Edison Time of Use tier. Our chargers, after rebates are $900...

    Battery Fuse replacement warning

Thanks. I just got the same warning on my 2017 MS 90D. I just wanted to see what I was in for. I may come back to his post and post my own results.

Solved*: AP, TACC, Auto Wipers & Lights

Yes. Agreed. My wife and I were driving through Arizona and New Mexico and I noticed the mirages causing AP to brake. It seemed less of a problem on some of the newer concrete (white) parts of as opposed to asphalt(black). It seemed that cruise control was also affected. I reported this as a bug...

    battery longevity question…

Just FYI: I regularly charge from 50-80% except when going on long trips, I'll go to 90-100%. My Model S is nearly 6 years old and my range is down about 11%. That's with a mix of L1, L2, L3 charging.

    Summon never works 1st time

Dang. Same here. Sometimes it doesn't work until 4-5 tries. Frustrating! I know it was the update. Also, my summons used to "remember" where it started from and stop at that point on the return but now, it just keeps going...

Inventory P100D software limited to 48-amp AC charging?

Yeah. Something doesn't seem right with that statement. Whenever I'm pulling 72 Amps @ 200 VAC, my miles/hour charge is about 42 mi/hr. Plenty slow/safe enough charge. Besides, the battery charging infrastructure only sees the resultant DC output from the twin chargers.

Let's Speculate - What will happen if FSD isn't possible on cars sold with that option?

Just read that HW3 will be installed on cars that have fully paid FSD. I can't tell you how gratifying that feels after being teased on the forum by members that were absolutely positive that I would never get upgraded hardware without paying an additional cost.

Intermittent Charging Failure using 120 volt wall outlet

Yeah. Just roll up to a Tesla service center. They'll check you in real quick, test the UMC and the car and let you know what happened. The UMC will be under warranty.

    Mobile charger cable strain relief

Wamochi, thanks for your input! Unfortunately, mine is not nicely mounted to the wall but is rolled up in my car every day. I should have mentioned that. That’s the main reason the it gets abused so much.

    Mobile charger cable strain relief

So, I’m sure, like many folks, the mobile charging cable gets used a lot. I use mine every day. After about a year and a half, I noticed that cable getting intermittent. It finally gave up the ghost a couple of weeks later. I noticed by manipulating the cable where it exits the charging module...

Autopilot - Newbie thoughts and observations

I agree. Good catch. EAP speeding up at an inopportune time is one of the things that has become second nature to me. I either 1) set my max to about 20-25 mph in slow traffic or, 2) My left hand is just a flick away from canceling the EAP (preferred). Sometimes, I'll catch the display acquire...
