Yep, it's no hassle to defer. You can tell your SA about it. If you do nothing, they might text you with a matched car for delivery. Instead of saying 'YES' you can just say 'defer' and then they will call you to confirm.

Feel free to order now, and just say you want to defer when they match you early. They might ask something like "are you sure, because of demand you might get a vehicle near end of quarter" but that's about it. Pretty easy. If price goes down, I believe you get the lowest price. If price goes...

Just got the same text a minute ago. This is ridiculous. I've been in queue since the end of September. I also delayed visiting my parents across the country due to my SA insisting I was getting a delivery (driving instead of flying, and I'm the only one visiting them, thanks to dangers of COVID).
