With 3 teens, the 7 seat option was just too cramped for us. Glad we stuck with the 6 seater... middle aisle for easy in and out. Having the 3rd row fold flat is enough for me. But obviously, if cargo is your concern, both rows folding flat would be an advantage.

We are on the 3-6 plan now - and have teens - so lots of people home during the day in the summer... the EV plan might not be the best plan for me either.
