    EAP Return to US

yeah. hands-free legally allowed vs. "keep your hands on the wheel at all times or the system will push out alerts and put you in timeout" ... *totally the same*

    EAP Return to US

plus Ford's BlueCruise is comparable to SuperCruise and the Mach E / F150 Lightning will get it... but yeah... FSD Beta at $12k is a steal... won't even let you legally drive handsfree.

    EAP Return to US

lol. $6k. 😅 meanwhile SuperCruise is a $2500 option in Cadillacs and BlueCruise even less. Unlike EAP both are actually true "hands-free" assistance systems...

How many will look into the F-150 Lightning?

TFL got up to 170kw charge speeds and it still pumped at 130kw at ~60% SOC. That's not terrible especially holding 100kw+ very long.

How many will look into the F-150 Lightning?

yup. in a world where they charge well over $60k for a Model Y ... the likelihood we will see a 200kwh pack in a Cybertruck is slim to none. Unless they brand it as PLAID and charge $130k+ ...

How many will look into the F-150 Lightning?

they also "were" talking about a 300+ miles rated AWD Cybertruck for just under $50k ;) not happening at $50k (which would undercut Rivian and Ford Lightning by over $20k). Meanwhile a Model Y AWD runs at $66k ...

How many will look into the F-150 Lightning?

I'm pretty sure the Cybertruck won't come standard with that large of a battery. Stated capacity for the Lightning and R1T is ~130-135kwh (total pack, not usable capacity). if Tesla throws in a pack 20%+ more capacity ... the price for that vehicle would easily exceed $80k+

Model 3 performance still has lumbar support and mobile charger?

question: did you order your vehicle before or after the announcement was made that mobile connector will be removed?

Differences between 2019 and 2022 Model 3 Long Range AWD

other way round... in 2019 steering wheel was one last remaining "real leather" item which then later got switched over to "vegan leather" like the rest of the car

M3 - Bunch of error messages when attempting to start vehicle

totally unacceptable. so an issue effectively making the car undriveable has a ~3 week wait time to get it even "looked at" ? and that's without parts being ordered/ repairs completed.

"Proactive" 12v battery replacement - good idea or overkill?

heat does kill a 12V battery over time... but a 12V battery resides in the *hot* engine bay of an ICE car and doesn't die within 2+ yrs either. And those engine bays are hotter than even a Model 3 parked in the Texas sun will get under the hood

"Proactive" 12v battery replacement - good idea or overkill?

so Tesla would be deploying 2 ranger visits and $200+ in costs/labor over just 4 years rather than installing a proper battery to begin with? Hard to believe that this is intended by the engineers. A 12V battery definitely should *not* crap out after just 2+ yrs.

Differences between 2019 and 2022 Model 3 Long Range AWD

I do like the double paned front driver/passenger windows in the newer ones cutting back on noise and the slightly higher range. the blacked out trim is debatable for me. wireless phone charging is nice though and motorized trunk convenient. on the downside deleted radar / worse OEM tires (the...

Differences between 2019 and 2022 Model 3 Long Range AWD

Model 3 AWD now come with Hankook Kinergy GT tires and no longer the Michelin MXM4s ... big downgrade imho. The Hankook's aren't even rated XL ("good enough" I guess) and the reviews on Tire Rack are pretty poor. Aftermarket around $199 whereas the MXM4s are $285+. In the tire hierarchy I would...

    Car likely totaled

that's why totaled cars are assessed at fair market value... if you can point the insurance to the fact that you can't replace your totaled car with a comparable vehicle (age and miles) - they have to adjust the value.
