My opinion: update to the mobile phone apps will be our first sign that the update is on the way, as it’s highly likely that a new app build will be needed to support the stream-sentry-cameras-to-tesla-mobile-app feature that Green has confirmed exists.

I’m feeling that way, too. It’s pretty certain that v11 offers the ability to stream live camera feeds from the vehicle to the Tesla app (confirmed by Green and shown in his recent UI options, etc.) — but we haven’t seen the Tesla app updated, so it’s unlikely they’re ready to launch. Granted...

There's also an absence of any sort of leak -- no bad photos on Twitter, no rumors, etc. I just can't reconcile the need to test V11 across a lot of people / vehicles in order for it to be "ready for primetime" against the fact that there have been zero leaks -- I'm certainly hoping Tesla is...

Anyone else concerned about the lack of leaks? Think v11 is still coming in 3-4 days? V11 will go to a significant chunk of the userbase (all US at a minimum), so there has to be a significant beta program in-place to ensure quality ... yet, no leaks?

Oh, certainly, lots of possibilities ... but Elon wasn’t just tweeting that out of the blue — he was replying on a thread about AP. To boot, the timeline fits for v11 and would allow for a similar delivery as the “Unwrapping present” release we saw last December.

Honestly, I think Elon’s comment ... Source ... was basically him saying, “v11 is coming in December”.

Can’t listen to all those sweet commercials!
