    leasing model 3 an option

Even at the initial launch? If that's the case I assume it'd be the same for the Model 3. I just hope they get the $7,500 credit squared away for lesees who purchase it.

What Are Your Daily Driver Plans While Awaiting the Model 3?

A distracted driver running the red. I'm actually looking into an i3, but it's much more similar to the Model 3 than I anticipated. Almost takes some of the hype away since the interior of the i3 right now is potentially nicer, plus the model I'm looking at has premium features and tech at an...

What Are Your Daily Driver Plans While Awaiting the Model 3?

The BMW i3's I've looked at compare extremely well to the Model 3. Much better than I assumed. They even have active collision avoidance, autopilot-like features, and auto parking similar to the Model S. The only missing link is range.

    leasing model 3 an option

Does anyone know if they had this option for the S or X?

    leasing model 3 an option

Hmm, that's very annoying. Other EV manufacturers factor the $7,500 into the residual at the end. But Tesla has changed much of its ways for the Model 3 compared to the S/X so we will see. It would be very convenient to get the $7,500 worked into the purchase price.

    leasing model 3 an option

I came here to ask this question as well. The better reason to lease the Model 3 is that the $7,500 rebate is worked into the lease price rather than your income taxes, so I'd prefer to lease the Model 3 then potentially purchase it at the end.

If the Model 3 Is Self-Driving, Would You "Share" a Model 3 with Other Drivers?

I assume any respectable car-sharing program would ensure cars remain in mint condition, and that you wouldn't get the exact same Model 3 each time if it was through a service. I.e. you could be sharing thirty Model 3 vehicles with a hundred people in your area.

If the Model 3 Is Self-Driving, Would You "Share" a Model 3 with Other Drivers?

The vast majority of the time a car is spending its life parked and not-in-use. If the Model 3 were truly self-driving, it could break that mold and I expect many services will attempt to cash in on multiple drivers sharing a collection of Model 3 vehicles -- if not Tesla itself offering such an...

Let's Not Make Paying for Software Features a Precedent As Tesla Sets the Standard for the Future

By the way, I apologize for typos as I did not realize this forum does not have an edit option.

Resale Value of Model s after Model 3

I do think the Model 3 will significantly impact the resale value of the Model S when it releases, but Model S owners were aware of Tesla developing a $35,000 car. If I were a Model S owner I would sell sometime between now and Tesla going into full-swing 3 production unless I planned on keeping...

What Are Your Daily Driver Plans While Awaiting the Model 3?

Seemingly both fortuitously and unfortunately, my Cadillac CTS was wrecked by another driver's carelessness just prior to the Model 3 pre-orders going live. While I have put my deposit down on the Model 3 and am very excitingly awaiting it whilst dividing my day between learning about Tesla and...

Part 1 was awesome. Guesses for what will be in part 2?

    - Autopilot features that can partially or fully follow GPS directions. (It has the hardware already so all it needs is the software, which will be no small feat, and regulations in place.) - Model X air conditioning features/filter. I don't foresee Tesla announcing a new car model until they...

Let's Not Make Paying for Software Features a Precedent As Tesla Sets the Standard for the Future

Let me start with a wholehearted congratulations to Tesla, Elon, and the team. The Model 3 is undoubtedly the Model T of this generation, and will set the precedent for what automobiles can and should be for not just the upcoming decade but well into the next century. I can appreciate just how...
