Multi Coat Red closest Over the Counter paint color match?

I've got some paint flaking from my front wheel wells (thanks aftermarket mudflaps and road salt). I'm going to have it professionally fixed but it'll be a couple months before the body shop has an opening. Does anyone know which readily available at part stores touch up paints (Duplicolor or...

    Supercharger - Tofte MN

Anyone in the area that can check on this? There's another ticket in for installation of EV charging stations that expires today. I've got a road trip later this summer that's going to take me from Grand Portage to Kabetogama for Isle Royale and Voyageurs National Parks, and this supercharger...

2018 Model 3 Heat Broken After Installing 2022.44

Frankly I don't know where that is or how to test it so I'd assume no. I know there's some fuses of some kind in the battery penthouse, but my level of HV competence / risk tolerance means my DIY repairs will never involve opening the battery or penthouse.

2018 Model 3 Heat Broken After Installing 2022.44

Turns out my issue was the PTC heater. After getting a quote from Tesla of $860 to diagnose and replace the PTC heater I decided it would be worth trying to replace it myself with a salvage unit off ebay for $130. It took me quite a bit longer than I expected, about 5 hours, with the help of the...

Using Tesla Service Mode Alert Time to Assign Blame?

I know interpersonal strife is more interesting than the technical question here, but people are assuming a dynamic that doesn't exist in this case. They think I did it and didn't notice, I think they did it and didn't notice, and we're taking each other at our word. The question is who has the...

Using Tesla Service Mode Alert Time to Assign Blame?

Step 1 is determining if I can definitively tell when the damage occurred. What happens after that is between me and the other party.

Using Tesla Service Mode Alert Time to Assign Blame?

I've been letting someone borrow my car on and off for a few days while they're having car trouble. We've both driven the car during that time. At some point I started getting false positives on the parking sensors, I didn't notice when it started exactly because that's not uncommon during the...

2018 Model 3 Heat Broken After Installing 2022.44

I don't understand this one at all. The cabin PTC heater is completely unrelated to the liquid heating and cooling system of the car as far as I can tell.

2018 Model 3 Heat Broken After Installing 2022.44

Did it work as soon as you plugged it in? I've tried charging at the supercharger a couple times now but I'm just plugging in for a minute or two then leaving when the heat fails to turn on. If you can remember I'd be curious to know wheter it ran the heat right away after plugging in, if it...

2018 Model 3 Heat Broken After Installing 2022.44

Really odd. We just got a supercharger in our town a month or two ago, I'll give that a try.

2018 Model 3 Heat Broken After Installing 2022.44

I've tried both versions I know of, holding the two scroll wheels on the steering wheel, and the Power Off button in the Safety menu and waiting a few minutes, neither has worked so far.

2018 Model 3 Heat Broken After Installing 2022.44

Small update, I tried starting the climate from the app again before running errands and once again it ran for about 30 seconds, the cabin temp increased about 2 degrees, then it turned itself off again. So obviously the PTC heater is capable of making heat, but maybe the car is seeing some data...

2018 Model 3 Heat Broken After Installing 2022.44

I have a 2018 Model 3 Performace I recently updated from a 2022.28 version to a 2022.44 version (I don't have wifi where I park). Shortly after (immediately?) running the update my heater stopped working. The fan blows but it blows cold. I was part of the group of people that had issues with...

    Supercharger - Parish, NY

Looks complete but is not yet powered up as of around 10:30 am today, seems to just be waiting on connection and painted lines on the ground. On the far side of the building when approaching from 81.

    Supercharger - Potsdam, NY

Plugged in for just a minute to verify, up and running.
