Not sure how long anymore, but pretty sure i've read people having their orders cancelled or at least threatened to cancel it if they couldn't accept it between the date range they were given once their vehicle was ready for pickup.

From my understanding of reading around, Tesla will eventually cancel your order if you "delay" delivery too long. Then you're stuck paying the new price.

Congrats on the car. I believe you don't start getting updates until your VIN gets processed through their system and then they start pushing updates to your car. I believe this could take up to 1-2 months sometimes.

I'm in the same boat, I put in an order for the MY SR beginning of February. My delivery date is March 8. I couldn't justify the $24K price increase from the SR to LR
