Well, it finally happened! Six weeks and a couple days into my 5 to 9 wait, and I finally got a VIN!! Number is 81XXX, ordered on 10/8. So excited to begin the next chapter of this journey.

6 weeks and counting, still no VIN

I’m in Florida, ordered 10/8, still no VIN...there’s a lot of us on the east coast waiting and wondering what’s going on. There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason why some get theirs sooner and others later. Someone updated the spreadsheet recently with a VIN in TN, 73XXX or something...

Same, just insurance left on my list which I can’t complete without VIN. I’m wondering the same...just want to know if I’ve done everything I can do. I noticed that too about the colors...crosses fingers.

Congrats to you, WTF to me. Ordered 10/8 from FL, MYP, MSM w/white int., no FSD or tow...still no VIN or a peep from Tesla. Already renewed my trade-in once. A’int gonna lie, jealous AF. Enjoy the hell out of it...

Sweet, hoping my is soon too, I ordered 10/8 from FL. With all the recents VINs being handed out, it seems like I am about a week out or so, based on order date, from getting one. Fingers crossed.

I mentioned that I was getting concerned with the timeframe because I need to get the financing approved and we are coming up on the holidays. I use my company credit union, so they aren’t very big and do things slowly. He told me to go ahead and submit. I write back and reiterated that I cannot...

Performance, MSM, White Interior, no tow, no FSD. I live in Lakeland, but ordered from the Tampa location.

Today is one month since my order, still no. VIN. I just emailed my SA with an inquiry, we’ll see what kind of response I get, if any. I read on another post that shipments are at the end of each quarter, so that would mean December for me. Can anyone who previously bought a Tesla speak to this?

One of the other posts on this forum mentioned a phone number you can call to provide your reservation number, but I haven’t tried it yet. I’ll look for the post when I get home later, if no one else posts it before then.
