Tesla Model 3 Blackvue 750 2ch DIY install with Constant 12V power

No issues. In fact I re-did the install again and installed a 10 amp fuse just to be safe. Tesla looked at my setup and confirmed all is well.

Tesla Model 3 Blackvue 750 2ch DIY install with Constant 12V power

Yes, Both options would work and in fact I probably would have used the "NOCO GC018 12V Adapter Plug Socket with Eyelet Terminal". The only problem I see is the cable is too short from the 12 volt battery end and the cigarette adapter on the Dashcam will not fit through the rubber plug on the...

I think this is a great idea and something I was actually thinking about last night. I will probably buy something like this and install this weekend. Thanks!

Tesla Model 3 Blackvue 750 2ch DIY install with Constant 12V power

Im not sure I understand. I only meant to install the PMP to add a fuse into the works just in case of some weird voltage spike. The other reason I added the PMP was it prevented me from having to splice or cut off the cigarette plug on the end of the Balcuvue (this is where the fuse is located...

Yes, I should have called this out. I used double sided foam tape. No rattles here!

Tesla Model 3 Blackvue 750 2ch DIY install with Constant 12V power

I had an extra one and it puts a fuse in between the 12V and the dashcam. Otherwise, I agree it wasnt needed. I measured the 12V voltage and got 11.5V so, I just wanted to be safe.

Tesla Model 3 Blackvue 750 2ch DIY install with Constant 12V power

I decided to dive right in after only 3 days of ownership and install a blackvue on the model 3. Unlike other posts, I wired the magic power pro directly to the 12v battery for constant power. The whole process was fairly easy considering it was the first time I've ever seen inside a Model 3...

Replacing cabin air filter on updated Model S

Can you share with me the dimensions or link for replacement of the cabin filter? I just recently installed a MERV 13 filter in the cavity where the HEPA filter would be ( I didnt get the Premium Upgrades package). I am wondering if I need to order a Carbon cabin filter on my Sept 2016 model S...

    Blackvue Dashcam Install on 2016

I managed to complete the install myself. The rearview mirror and the new 2016 AP enclosure are secured with 4 gold metal snaps connected by plastic inserts. See picture below. I was lucky enough to go slow and didn't scratch or break anything. I removed the rear seat panels exposing the rear...

    Blackvue Dashcam Install on 2016

I also am having difficulty figuring out how to open the interior rearview enclosure on the new 2016 MS. It seems that there is one metal clip (similar to the two that are in the microphone housing) on the driver side of the rearview mount. Beyond that I cant tell if there are plastic clips or...
