    Water Intrusion in Frunk

While I've had a very smooth 2.5 months with my Y (64XXX VIN), I've noticed that after a heavy rain or using the self-serve car wash, my frunk has a noticeable amount of water in it. I haven't kept anything stored in there and it's easy to wipe the water up with towels, but it still feels like...

    updates

No FSD/EAP and got my 48.26 update last night - about two hours after I had received the update to 48.12.1.

Any Possible Model Y Update Info?

My takeaway from the video was that everything but the double paned windows happened prior to the 63xxx VIN. I know I've seen earlier posts re the tail light changes and the buttons on the doors. I also think there were threads on added noise insulation and the heat pump modification. So, my...

    New Jersey Waiting Room

Got a text from my SA today that the car is on its way to Chicago and that we're still on track for a delivery sometime next week.

    New Jersey Waiting Room

Got my VIN yesterday and got a call today from my Cherry Hill SA - was told "very tentatively" to expect delivery the first week in November (they will have a firmer date once the car arrives in Chicago and said I should expect to hear from them a couple of times between now and delivery). Great...

    Got My 2021 VIN!

Ordered 9/13- and just got my VIN! 64xxx. Very excited. Hoping for an early November delivery in Cherry HIll, NJ. Is that reasonable based on typical VIN to delivery?

    New Jersey Waiting Room

Just got my VIN in the last hour - woohoo! 64xxx. No text, etc. yet - hopefully will hear about a delivery date soon! My guess is still early November.

    New Jersey Waiting Room

Went into Cherry Hill today to check on things. No specific insights (recap - ordered 9/13 and no VIN yet for my MSM/Black/20s) but the SA did mention that a lot of cars are scheduled to arrive in the third week of November. That said, he mentioned I could match sooner.

    New Jersey Waiting Room

When I went into the SC, they looked up my reservation (and added a friend as a referral). They said that his best guess based on "what he's seeing" is that I would match for a VIN by the end of October and have the car in early November. The SA said he can see things on the backend to arrive at...

    New Jersey Waiting Room

Ordered 9/13 for Cherry Hill - No VIN and total silence. To be fair, I went into the SC two weeks ago and they said I should expect the car early November but I feel like others in the area ordered after me and are getting their cars sooner. No huge deal - just testing my patience!

    Got My 2021 VIN!

Seeing a lot of cars getting VINs - especially on the East Coast. Casual observation: I think almost all have 19" Gemini wheels. Maybe the 20s are delayed. I ordered a LR with 20s on 9/13 to NJ - still no VIN.

    New Jersey Waiting Room

Ordered 9/13 and no VIN yet - but feels like it should be any day now since I've seen some east coast MSMs getting VINs in these threads!

    Need for screen protector?

Just noticed they're on sale on Evannex for $10 (from $20). Wonder if this relates to the (rumored) tweaked design of the 2021 Model 3 screen - not changing size, but different bezel etc.

    220v 30 amp - Advice, Charging Times

I think you're right, jeffbco re the dryer! Anyhow, got a second opinion and the electrician (who is highly reputable/been in business in my area for decades) said it's no problem to do a "twin" off of another circuit and he can get me 240 v/50 a (so about 30 mph). Pretty psyched. About $800...

    220v 30 amp - Advice, Charging Times

Thanks so much, guys. This is all really, really helpful. Update: So, of course this couldn't be easy - taking a closer look at my dryer ..it's 120v! My electrician and I came up with the shared circuit idea after he was back outside (we both just assumed the dryer was the typical 240 - but...
