Autoshift is only a convenience when starting a drive. You can still choose the gear manually from the screen or the center console buttons (under the wireless chargers). I find it guesses wrong in parking lots most often, but it's 100% when leaving my garage.

Take delivery on the condition they replace the windshield once available. Get the rest of the car wrapped, but skip the main glass. Since they're going to replace it anyways, you can get it applied to the new windshield and abuse the current one guilt-free.

It's most likely a lot easier to develop and QA against the latest code for all components in the car. It's a complex network of software and firmware, so trying to go back to a version with known bugs is just going to slow you down. I mean, they still missed their estimate, but estimates are...

Call up Tesla and try to get a delivery appointment scheduled. That way you'll have a hard date you can rely on. But give the PPF place a few days window, just in case there are any shipping delays.

You're not alone. I believe you're the 11th person reporting this here. It affects at least 2000 vehicles. The update was scheduled to release last night. Give them a call and see if they can get you scheduled again. I'm waiting to hear back from my DA shortly as well.
