Picked up my car on Saturday. Despite the initial pickup being delayed due to some paint work the car needed. The car looked pretty much perfect on pickup despite some grease smudges on the inside that should wipe off. Overall super happy!

Lol i'm also taking the Amtrak to Glenview tomorrow and then lyfting to highland park! I'm taking the 11 AM train though!

The first car had paint damage and needed to go in for repairs.

Got my second VIN today! My old VIN will probably show up in existing inventory in the next week or two when it's fixed I imagine lol.

I feel you. My delivery was supposed to be on Saturday but they called me Friday night to let me know the car was in the shop getting paint repairs done.

Well guys, my journey continues. Pickup was scheduled for tomorrow but the car has paint defects. It will be in the shop for 10+ days. They unmatched my VIN and are going to try and get me matched with a new car faster...

From what i've heard, you aren't actually moved to the back of the line if you can't pick up in time. It might still be a few weeks before you get new VIN though.

Delivery is this Saturday! Hope everyone waiting on VINS gets theirs soon.

I would wait until you can schedule and then call and ask. I have heard that they sometimes hold you to a 3 day pickup window though.

Delivery EDD bumped down to Aug 19 - 25 today. Still waiting on being able to schedule.

Ah lame!

Yeah! A week or two ago when my EDD was blank they were able to give me a date range from their end that ended up being semi accurate.

Shout out to whoever runs the HP order support email. They've been the most helpful people i've talked to. Switched my order over to financing and let me know I should get a text to schedule a delivery date within 24 hours!

I believe the agreements don't become available until 24 hours before delivery IIRC.

And now a delivery edd of Aug 20 - 26. Hopefully it works out so I can grab it next weekend!
