A cold rain with headwinds really nerfs a car’s range, even for gas cars. It happened to me in a Prius many years ago, then again in my MS when I drove into an unexpected snowstorm in South Dakota. I always charge a little extra just in case.
Yep. still there, still being used. It’s difficult to get to the 3rd floor of that garage and those speed bumps are REALLY annoying. There’s no reason to shut it down, but no reason to upgrade it either.
I chatted with the Tesla guy who tells me this site is waiting on inspection, and once it passes it will be waiting on Oncor’s meter. Couple more weeks?
I chatted with Leonard from Tesla who says this site will be up in the next week or two. It is waiting on the meter from Oncor. The 12 pedestals and 3 cabinets have all been placed and the site has been cleaned up.
That’s progress. When I was there last Friday the chargers were still wrapped in plastic and there was construction debris all over. I bet they’re waiting on the meter to be installed.
Yep, it looks like a supercharger. Location is behind Burlington, just east of Mall Road F. Early stage construction. They do have a transformer(!) but no meter.
It looks like they’re getting ready to hook up to the high voltage line today. I did not see any substantial difference in the SC area, so I guess they’re waiting for Oncor to finish doing their thing.
yeah, don’t use the .com map, it’s only updated once a quarter if that. Supercharge.info gets updated first. The car’s Navigator gets update a few days later.
