High refrigerant temperature reported during and after supercharging

Others have advised you to get some gauges on your refrigerant lines. Which is what you should do. When the evaporator is delivering really cold air it is freezing up which is a sign that you are low on refrigerant. What happens is all the liquid refrigerant boils into gas before exiting the...

    LV 12v battery

So did you disconnect it from the car to recondition it?

unstable supercharge performance - thermal issue ?

If the interpretation of error messages is somewhat correct, it's likely you have a low charge in the AC system. If the suction side of the system triggers a low-pressure alert, that's low refrigerant. Have you had the AC system opened in previous maintenance to replace the desiccant bag? Maybe...

    SiriusXM Volume Scratchy

Well, still seems to be a cr*p shoot if the static is fixed. For me, many days now with 2023.6.8 and I can no longer reproduce the scratchy effect. EQ, volume (rapid or slow), XM or FM, all are working as they should.

    SiriusXM Volume Scratchy

Not EU, but NA... I just updated to 2023.6.8 and can report that the issue with SiriusXM and FM radio appears to be fixed. I tried multiple volume changes both slow and quick as well as equalizer changes for both sources. I did notice a click when moving an equalizer slider but not after leaving...

    Total Spent $130

The Total Spent is just a calculation based on cost per kWh for your non-SuC charging. Check what you have Work, Home, and Other cost per kWH set to in the app. No money flows to Tesla for these "costs".

Update removed Sirius/XM selection from infotainment screen

Maybe the simple solution... There is now a "sources" menu in the settings for audio where one can turn off things like the phone, USB, etc. perhaps the XM radio slider is off? Same place that you set the balance. This menu seems to have changed a lot lately.

    Supercharger - Hines, OR

At 4:15 PM MDT today it showed as open with one stall in use. The navigation plans routes through it now. I'm banking on it being open on Tuesday as well.

So far so good MCU2 upgrade

Also just had this done at our new service center in Boise. Got an M3 for a loaner. Dropped off at 8:30 AM was done at 2 PM. I also got HW3 installed so now have visualizations on the IC. The "blue" of the car is a different blue than it was since the IC was also replaced. $2500 + tax for me...

    Remote app and seat warmers

Mine behaves as you describe as well. The steering wheel heats up but seats do not when set in the app. It used to do this last winter but many updates since then so likely a software change.

    Supercharger - Boise, ID

I never could figure out which one it was. While it was showing only 7 stalls, I saw cars at various times in all of them.

12v battery died while main battery was fully charged and car plugged in to charger

There are actually two ways a Model S (at least the 100 kWh ones) keeps the 12v battery charged. The one everyone knows about is the "close the contacts", get the big DC-DC converter spun up, and dump whatever 12v is needed for running the car electronics and charging the 12v battery. The other...

    AC charging issue since 2020.44

How about cleaning the signal pins (control and proximity) on either side of the ground pin on the car? I assume that you can see the IC light up as the scenario plays out? Does the car ever report an actual charge rate right after the HPWC relay engages? Still have a UMC? Same result? The...

    Got any TPMS tricks?

Scroll down the listing on ebay and see the "program requirement". If you didn't have that done, you need to find a shop with a programmer.

    Got any TPMS tricks?

Looking at the listing it would appear that these are generic TPMS that are unprogrammed. That means you have to find a tire shop that has a programmer and would be willing to program them. Or they were programmed by the vendor (it's not clear from the listing) and it didn't "take" so needs to...
