    Rear ended - repair advice

I got rear ended the other day. She said her brakes went out and she was going 20 mph. I had my windows down and didn't hear any brake screeching for sure. I was at a stop sign while a jogger ran through the crosswalk in front of me, so I didn't see her coming. Pics below. I've put arrows to...

    Black Center Caps?

Hey I know this is an old thread, but I tried your suggested tool and the tsportline caps won't budge for me, wet suction or not. They do spin, but that's all the movement I get. Pulling on them the suction just eventually gives up. Am I going to need to remove the entire tire/wheel to get the...

    OMG...tire choices: my head hurts

I bought the same tires in November. We haven't had a lot of snow this winter but the few times we did I think these tires did an OK job. I do have to remind myself to change the drive setting to Chill though. When I forget to do that, on slush and snow the rear would kick out slightly on slow...

    19" vs 21" wheels & tires

I really liked the Space Gray too. It was hard to choose between that and Matte Black, which I obviously went with. It came down to simply getting something that was different than the 21s which were gray. Plus I may decide to get the windows tinted dark, and maybe black out the chrome at some...

    19" vs 21" wheels & tires

I bought the 19" TST Flow Forged from TSportline last fall. Have had them on all winter and they've worked out great. No major difference in range due to the new tire/wheel combo. I had 21's previously. I don't have to worry about road rash on the wheels anymore. Flow forged is a superior method...

CPO --> Something to be concerned with?

Probably a good choice. With that damage it should be listed as less than that, and for that money you should be able to find something in better condition.

CPO --> Something to be concerned with?

I wish I had been able to see detailed pics like that before I bought mine. Not that I still wouldn't have pulled the trigger.

Is MCU 2 the most important feature when shopping for a used Tesla?

IMO, the S simply looks damn good. Way better than the 3. I'm intrigued by the Y but it shares the same looks at the 3. The Model S shares some of the beauty of Aston Martin design which I've always appreciated. The interior is more luxurious too. An actual dashboard with useful information in...

Rust issue with T Sportline wheels

I have had this problem with one of my wheels too, usually after a car wash. It was bad initially like your picture but has gotten better. Curiously it only seemed to occur on my left rear wheel. It has nothing to do with lugs, I have the closed bolt lugs with covers. I spoke with a ranger about...

    Help - Buying a 2015 Model S

I would try NOT to test the air bags. That said, there are LOTS of threads on these forums about what to check for when buying used. CPO delivery is one of them. Just search for "used", CPO, checklist, etc. I'm sure you'll find hours worth orf reading like I once did.

    Tpms Gen 1 or Gen2??

Thanks. Can't believe I missed that. But it's there and I do see pressures. They were actually reporting 4 PSI under the optimal 42. When do they start reporting low pressure? On another note, these are the TPMS I'm thinking of pairing with my matte black wheels...

    Tpms Gen 1 or Gen2??

I am trying to determine this for my car as well. I have a June 2015 P85D, currently with 21" turbines. I don't seem to have any TPMS readout unless I'm not looking in the right place. I've read several posts here that after vin 50900 the sensors were all version 2. My vin is well beyond that...

    Wheel size suggestions

With all the sales going on I feel like I need to pull the trigger on something, but I haven't had the time to research to the fullest my options. My current setup is a P85D with 21" Turbine OEM wheels. However, here in Ohio they are starting to take a beating, and that's with trying to be extra...

20 Inch wheel options for Tesla 100D

Interesting the TSportline series seems to have a hard time getting balanced. I wonder if that's typical or if your situations were outliers. It may make me re-think my preference when I go to purchase. Then again I'd have to find something that I think looks better too.
