    Review calls Tesla's Motor subpar

My Model S P85 (Vin x6817, I believe) has over 75000 miles on it. We did get a new DU because of the wearing out of a gear component and that, along with an initial problem with the handles, has been the only major problem the car has had. The Tesla motor is basically a 100+ year old design...

    Supercharger - West Hartford, CT

I was also there this weekend (White P85) and there was one ICE'd spot. The Starbucks is all the way on the other side of the plaza almost to Sears. We were at Trader Joe's and it was nice to be able to charge there now - lot's of spaces and I like the new Supercharger design.

    Pennsylvania Supercharger - In Progress

Any progress report? I'm planning trips from CT and really don't want to have to go all the way to DE/MD.

4-year service contract now available in CT

Hank, They did offer it about a month ago for new purchases. The email is for folks like me for whom the service agreement wasn't available legally until now. Nice to see it. Signing up today. Jason

David Noland suggests Model S pedal placement is a safety hazard

Just the accelerator stops working - not the brakes. It does have a nice warning beep and flashes on the screen to tell you not to do it.

No gas makes driving a lot "easy" -- are you concerned about mileage?

Hitting 35K miles after 13 months. Clearly not worrying about the amount I'm driving it. As someone mentioned earlier, my only concern at all is around warranty, and with 8 years unlimited miles on the battery, I'm even less concerned with that. The car remains an absolute pleasure to drive.

    Conn non owner but interested

Hi John, I'm a CT owner. Most of these you can easily find on the testlamotors.com website (I think it's fun to just configure a car, but I'm weird). To answer your questions: the jump seats are optional - I don't have them, same with the sunroof. So far as I know, there is only one...

Windshield Wiper Problematic in winter condition!

That's strange. No problems for me. Essentially these are Mercedes wiper motors but some unique wipers on them. I do know that the defroster design needed to be tweeked, so I'd look at getting that update when you bring it in to the service center. Other than that, I haven't had problems...

    Supercharger - Guilderland, NY

That is an awesome chart. I'm assuming it is at the Tesla HQ?

Has Anyone's Model S Auto Insurance Gone Up Significantly?

No change on my side with USAA.

How many of you bought Tesla's ESA / Service Plans ?

Here in CT, no service plans are available, which has been actually very expensive for me so far. I'd love to get a service plan.

Seeking Feedback from All Model S Owners…

Love my MS - just hit 25,000 miles with the only real issue being wind going through the pano roof initially (now fixed under warranty, of course). Jason

    Milford CT Service Center Opened!

Great looking place, right on Rt 1 in Milford. I was the second customer there (24,000 mile service).

Oh what a difference 40 degrees F makes.

Having similar issues - and also too many variables to really pinpoint anything. My "normal" consumption has been about 320 or so and in the last week it has gone to 365 or 370. But... the temp in New England has crashed, I've updated to 5.8, and I had recently moved over to my snow tires...

Petition to rollback 5.8s suspension behavior modification at high speeds

I agree. This is really no big deal. And who said that the MS is higher off the ground than other cars to begin with? News to me.
