I swapped my 2019 X for a more recent lower mileage 2020 one at Northampton SC a couple of weeks ago after being informed that the S Plaid I ordered on the day they went on sale 2+ years ago would be at least mid-2023 RHD version. Hopefully worth the lengthy wait which I’m now used to after also...

Unbelievable! I was previously with Admiral for my S P90D - £1200 - maybe try giving them a call. Sounds like DL aren't giving you any no-claims allowance now whereas maybe in a March they were?

I live 60miles from the nearest SC but the only time I needed help was with a blowout and the SC got a replacement loaner wheel to me in less than an hour. Better service so far than any of the major players I've used in the past.

AP1 is absolutely fantastic on most U.K. A roads - the newer the road, less sharp curves, the better. AP2 is still in the learning stage whereas AP1 had got there. Probably six months or so before we see AP2 reach the same standard imho after having AP2 since Jan. I'm sure it will get there but...

I read other posts here which suggest that TACC/AP 'false alarms' are whiteboarded when they are reported. Before using the mic 'report' facility I used to email these to my SC where the tech people apparently much appreciated it! Run a search on 'whiteboard' and see if you can find the thread(s).

Whenever you have an unexplained slow down using TACC or AP, such as overhead bridge, sign or gantry you could press the mic button and report the incident direct to Tesla ie say something like "Report - 405 Northbound - 14h30 - TACC - overhead gantry" - you'll see a "Thanks" notification on the...

Also worth checking the signal wth and without the mirrors folded. I get little more than 50% of signal strength when they are set to auto-fold. Guess they aren't omnidirectional!

I believe the aerial is located in the driver's side mirror (rhs side of car here in UK and lhs in the US) - my router is also 35' from the car and I get 54mbs upload and download when the mirror faces the router at the shortest distance to the house. However, if I park the car the opposite way...

Agreed - didn't seem to do much actual powering off with mine either. The functionality seemed to return to the camera, radar etc when the driver assistance features were turned back on - and then only when the auto lights weren't showing as being 'on'.

It must be like seeing rocking horse droppings on AP2. The only cars I ever seem to see in front of mine are always grey and often look like jumping beans. :D
