Model 3 windshield shade that won't bake senors?

Sorry for the delayed response to your posts. At 77, my wife and I have long-ago reached an understanding that we are mutually impossible to buy gifts for, for the exact reasons you both have mentioned. But taking care of our own gifts usually works out so everyone is happy. My sunshade order...

Model 3 windshield shade that won't bake senors?

Thanks so much!! Your covercraft shade has a notch at the top so it fits around the sensor cover, Not behind it. Perfect! I will order one for Father's day.

Model 3 windshield shade that won't bake senors?

I am looking for a windshield sunshade for my 2020 M3P. So far, they all seem to extend UNDER the black plastic cover ahead of the rear view mirror. That seems to form a solar oven that will bake all of the expensive Tesla sensors like 3 cameras, rain sensor. Etc. Do any of these shades have a...

The perfect Model 3 emergency jack?

Interesting that it was steel, not aluminum that failed. It might be repairable using a thread repair kit like helicoil or permacoil.

Huge Vibration on Highway then gone? Anyone have info?

Good to hear that they fixed it!. Was it the hydraulic part of a rear caliper or the electric part, which does the Park function? Interesting that they replaced both sides.. I have had several Model S loaners from the Watertown service center. They were all in chill mode and felt big, heavy...

Quick Mount for Valentine V1gen2 in 2020 Model 3

Here is a better photo of the Quick Mount, which has been working very well in my Model 3. A revised version of the story, mostly minor edits, is just about ready to post and I would appreciate any comments, corrections, questions, etc. that might be incorporated. Thanks

Huge Vibration on Highway then gone? Anyone have info?

I have seen a similar problem caused by ice frozen to a rim. Perhaps, while your car is sitting in the cold, there is water INSIDE one or more tires that freezes to the tire casing or sound deadening belt, unbalancing the tire(s) until it melts and spreads out?

Huge Vibration on Highway then gone? Anyone have info?

It may be the lane departure warning, which shakes the wheel. It feels like you are driving over rumble strips.

See: Quick Mount for V1gen2 in Tesla Model 3 More to come, but I don't think it is appropriate to duplicate posts in 2 places, so I will keep them in RD Forum and reference from here. It may also be applicable to Model Y. Comments welcome, either here or RDForum. Thanks.
