My 2010 Mercedes E350 has less Phantom braking than my 2019 Model 3 with the full FSD package :-( It is an enigma to me why my Tesla continues to have this problem. It was solved a decade ago so why on earth is Tesla struggling so much with getting it right???

Newer Teslas cannot read speed signs so your car will inevitably get it wrong every time map date deviate from reality (75% as you observed). The AP1 teslas can do it but Elon decided years ago to stop paying the company who holds the patent on this technology and removed this function from cars...
