Supercharger - Mountain View, CA - Grant Rd (under construction, 32 stalls)

And here we are still waiting for PG&E, a full year since construction started and 10 months since Tesla finished their part.

    Supercharger - Soda Springs, CA (LIVE 8 Dec 2023, 12 V3 stalls)

After the last few times I used a Supercharger the app popped up a 'how was your charging session mini survey'. Everyone make sure to report poor results at Soda Springs.

    FSD Beta 12.3 GA

I'm impressed with 12.3 so far, a bit slow on neighborhood streets but 11.x was usually way too fast around parked cars n kids. I am very disappointed that we can no longer engage TACC though. There are situations like windee mountain roads that I prefer to steer but am happy for the car to...

Supercharger - Mountain View, CA - Grant Rd (under construction, 32 stalls)

More stalls were being upgraded today. I chatted with one of the techs doing the upgrade and he told me that they were adding a current sensor and new control board to support non-Teslas. I suspect not all vehicles on an adapter report data like current back to the Supercharger like a Tesla...

Supercharger - Mountain View, CA - Grant Rd (under construction, 32 stalls)

Last transformer installed...then removed! Last Thursday the second transformer cabinet was installed then when I came out of work it was gone. I went over to the crew and asked what happened and they said they something underground blocked them from pulling the final wire and they chose to...

I was told by PG&E workers that there would be two transformers. I saw the first one (which you are referring to) being installed. A surprisingly large part of its volume is taken up by wires as fat as my wrist connecting to the bus bars to the Tesla equipment.

The main transformer still needs to be installed on the junction box pad to the left, covered by cones in your picture.

Now if only we had V2L to power nice electric snow blowers!

If you might need this stop and it’s been snowing then I suggest you carry a shovel. Frankly you should carry a shovel in the winter in the mountains no matter what and where you are driving.

Supercharger - Mountain View, CA - Grant Rd (under construction, 32 stalls)

Transformer pads are in. Left one is a big prefab junction box underneath to connect the big wires. The right one is just poured concrete. The trenching out to Phyllis Rd is done. Mainly just waiting for the two transformers, though I don't know if the directional drilling under Grant Rd is 100%...

Yeah I was told they were going to open trench to Phyllis Rd (which I think is done except for the tarmac repair) and then have to directionally bore over to and under Grant Rd. Lots of work.

PG&E contractors have been trenching all week to lay the conduit. Here's pics of them cutting in where the transformer pads will be poured.

Supercharger - Mountain View, CA - Grant Rd (under construction, 32 stalls)

Finally a glimmer of progress. A PG&E project manager onsite said they plan to put in two 6 inch conduits for two 12kV 1000A circuits to two transformers and his contractor was there today confirming a safe route around other utilities etc. They have to run a couple blocks to the other side of...

    Slow leaking tires

A few years ago I had an SUV that would lose tire pressure - but only while driven. Took me a while to figure out but turned out to be a valve stem flexing from centrifugal force. I agree with the comments above, most likely a bad valve or cracked rim, fill it to the limit and dip it in water.

Still no progress. Do you know if PGE will first pour a concrete slab like all the Tesla cabinets are sitting on? If so that will give us some warning but add a bit more delay.
