Thanks for the great input! Since I won't be using the PWs for backup (and just for TOU time shifting), I think I will spend my money elsewhere and not on two 2x PWs. I am eager to get solar though!

Well I configured on Wednesday of this week, and didn't login to the Tesla portal until today....but I saw a VIN staring at me. So the VIN was issued either today or yesterday.

Yup! I was *SHOCKED*! I assumed I'd be waiting weeks on a VIN. A friend of mine in AZ configured a month ago and still waiting on his VIN. I get mine in 2 days....he's quite envious. LOL

That's why I've now decided on leasing my first M3, and when that lease is up making a decision on to buy/lease my next then-current M3.

We don't know longer range, until we know battery options on the M3. For all we know, M3 might have higher range. We don't know the MS seats will be more comfortable or not. Maybe even same front seats?
