    Refreshed "2021" Model X LR/Plaid waiting room

Looking forward to real life pics and reviews. We want an X for likely October deliver so figure won’t have to order until Aug/Sep.

Model X, 6 Seater Cargo Space

I'd never get another 6 seater. Those seats were: 1) Not as comfortable as they are pretty narrow, with no arm rests. 2) They ruin the cargo space usability of the X, you can't put anything easily in that is big/long like in 5/7 (folding) versions. 3) They are just slow electronic seats that...

Into the Service Center with Model Y

These scenarios are where actually the dealer network is valuable for established brands, lots of locations and they compete really for the best service experience lately in many cases. I've had horrible service with Tesla, it was good in the early days of 2013-2016 I'd say, but the car(s)'...

    Solar Roof, big price increase

Ouch, those are some pretty steep increases; 50%, etc.

Problems with new Tesla Inverter/Gateway? Fires-Exploding? [ not tesla gateway, install was solar city in 2013]

We are about to have a large Tesla system installed and curious if this should be a concern or not? https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/tesla-solar-panel-system-explodes-customer-claims

    2019 Model X Long Range Vs. 2017 Model X 100D - Same Mileage Range?

So how in the world are they up to 360 miles of range now on the latest X models? Are people really seeing anything close to that - or is that just the estimated for the refreshed model only?

    Refreshed "2021" Model X LR/Plaid waiting room

I had a 2016 and we sold it but thinking of coming back to and X, after seeing some refresh reviews and feedback. Currently have a place in line for the Rivian R1T max 400+ mile pack but the larger packs don’t start delivering until Jan 2022+. loved our X but it was “delicate” somewhat and had...

    AP 3.0 to FSD cost?

I’m hoping the offer some one time short term uses even like $$ for 7 days on in case your finally going to do a road trip or long distance driving etc.

    2021 Refresh Model S Discussion

I wish they would have added adjustable seat belt heights - looks fixed in side pillar still. My only interior/exterior wish besides that is to bring back the roof that we can open up for fresh air versus this fixed glass stuff.

    Model Y or Used X?

X I'd say. I would still expect the 3rd row for Y to get cancelled and never be released. It just isn't feasible - it's like putting a 3rd row in a small BMW X3 by comparison. Even the 3rd row in the larger X is pretty cramped!

...man you guys are brutal in here hehehe, just scanning the boards. But yes, Tesla is one brand where you pay a price and have no negotiating power so it's hard to be upset on price moves. You have to view your purchase as a point in time choice, knowing a day later new hardware could come...

    Ordered my MS Plaid

Why would I want to spend $140K on a car that is 0.3+ secs faster when its already crazy fast, looks exactly the same, as same quality/interior/exterior, tri-motor (when its a sedan and dual is fine), but yes can go 100+ miles more in range (but for most, 99% of the time you never worry about...

Model S Depreciation curve flattens when?

It's much more rough on older models due to improvements in tech combined with lower prices. A 140K old tesla is comparable to a much more efficient, longer range, newer tech, brand new Tesla that is $100K. Definitely since the starting point for a superior version is already a good 30% less...

ElonM's own Model S: burgundy or maroon / Plaid?!

It’s definitely ironic if he had a special paint job while the rest of factory paint sucks. Always loved the signature red color and this one as well. Even miss the green and brown.
