I wish Tesla had made a clean transition to double paned windows with the 2020/2021 switch. If I had to guess, they bought enough to last them through Q3 and then used the remaining supply until they ran out. Not ideal for consumers, but smart business sense.

I can confirm this is not accurate. I have a 2021 VIN (60xxx) that arrived at the service center today. It does NOT have the double paned glass. The build date was October 11th.
