    X75D full charge miles

My 100% is 222. X75D delivered December 2016. I always thought this was a terrible 90%, but I see that I'm within a few rated miles of most. SC has given various explanations, including a change of algorithms to be closer to real range, but that always seemed unsatisfactory. Rated range should...

Shipping from TireRack to Independent Installer - Advice?

Has anyone used Firestone or PepBoys to install new tires? How about alignment? I'm in OC, so if anyone has location-dependent advice, that would also be useful. Thanks. BTW, I think I'm going with the Pirelli Scorpion Zero All-Seasons.

Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Michelson Dr. (Park Place, LIVE 19 Oct 2019, 12 urban stalls)

Irvine was first listed as a "target opening" in 2017. Now, clearly, it won't make the 2018 target. If you look at the map, Tustin, Irvine and Mission Viejo all have projected supercharger locations. The whole area has seen a major conversion to Teslas, but the need to show a profit means that...

    X: What's your 90%?

I had the same response when I brought in my 12/2016 MX75D with a 100% around 220 miles. The SC said that algorithm changes had adapted to my driving habits and that there was no issue with the battery modules. I'm not sure why my driving habits would trigger it. I have a low lifetime wh/mile...

Battery Level dropping while at SC

I had Costa Mesa SC keep both fobs in the car, which they said was the cause of the car losing ~20 miles per day range. For at least 24 hours, it was at lower than 10%, reaching 2 miles before they decided to charge it. (I brought it in on the 23rd of December and, on the 25th, the shop was...

    Model X Battery Loss

No, I supercharge, but typically once every two weeks. Most charging is done at home on an L2 charger.

    Model X Battery Loss

After having a 220 mile rated range on my X75D after a 100% charge (from discharging to <5%), I took my car into the SC. I had had an issue the previous Christmas when the SC left my car on <5% for an extended period of time (to ~2 miles range), but they have now twice confirmed that there I...

    Model X 100D Mileage Drop

I was seeing around 9.3% loss from a 100% of 237 (MX 75D, December 2016, 14,500 miles) to, after a deep discharge and full charge to 100%, 220 miles(!). I noticed a significant drop in range after the SC left it at <10% for two days during its annual service last year, dropping it to near-zero...

Supercharger - Irvine, CA - Michelson Dr. (Park Place, LIVE 19 Oct 2019, 12 urban stalls)

Lots of good location speculation, but does anyone think that there will be a Supercharger by the end of 2018? Still no evidence of an Irvine location as the M3s ramp up their volume.

    Service Center swamped

Costa Mesa has an SC near the delivery center. I suspect that there is an influx of Model 3 delivery issues that combine with the general growth of Teslas in SoCal. They're using Lyft to get me around, because there were no loaners available in the morning. Prior to this I always had a loaner...

    Service Center swamped

Here I am waiting 90 minutes for a loaner. Monday afternoon in Costa Mesa. I know we're in TeslaLand here, but none of the three people ahead of me have been offered a loaner. You should see the place, though. It's swamped. What's your experience?

    X: What's your 90%?

Last time, my 75D (December 2016), ~10K miles, was at 205 miles, which seemed like it had dropped a lot from 213 initially. However, the SC had let the battery sit close to zero (2 miles range on pickup after 48 hours from 50 miles). I'm wondering whether long-term sitting at <10% was a factor...

Rotating tires on an X? Annual service fail...

I had a rear tire in front. Perhaps they simply were unable to correctly replace the tires, but it sure sounds like they were rotating them. Yep, epic fail. And then they forgot to realign the wheels when they put them on correctly.
