How do I get the power consumption displayed on the drivers little screen on my MS?

Press down the scroll wheel as you rotate to cycle through the menu options

    LV tracker definition (UK insurance)

Went through this exact process with LV myself. Got them to very carefully read through the t&cs and the advisor agreed the Tesla Model S met the criteria. Specific EV policy for those interested

Model S Main Screen Rebooting every 2 mins- Help!

Similar to this. Listening to a podcast from my iPhone whilst it was plugged into the front USB caused my screens to glitch and reboot several times, all since the last update (75D on 2018.34.1). Unplugged it 3 weeks ago and has not done it since....could be coincidence

    1 month review Model S 75D

Thanks for advice it is good to hear from those with many years of experience. It is very early days for me in terms of Tesla ownership but all I can say is in the first 2500 miles the car has exceeded my range expectations so far…I guess they were quite low so getting a bit carried away...

    1 month review Model S 75D

Thanks, am expecting a reduction in range. Am personally very lucky with location of the supercharger network so not a problem for me but something for others to consider.

    1 month review Model S 75D

Since I got so much useful info from the forum thought I’d give my experience for any people looking buying a Model S I do quite a bit of mileage, (regular 200 mile trip to Newcastle) so the whole 75D vs 100D was a big consideration for me. 200 mile journeys in a 75D have not been an issue at...

Domestic 3 pin plug in question

Thanks .jg. I am getting an electrician out in the next week or so to give an opinion. I do have a new consumer unit knocking around I bought for this purpose, just never got round to getting it hooked up. Plugged the car in last night through UMC using plug into 15A fuse and reduced the draw...

Domestic 3 pin plug in question

Thanks arg, that’s helpful You are quite right in that the installer is keen to bypass the box and wire directly into the meter. Has quoted £200 for this on top of the install, bit of a pain but probably cheaper than getting the whole garage re-wired plus new consumer unit.

Domestic 3 pin plug in question

Thanks Excuse the stupid questions! How long is the standard UMC + cable? Plugs will be located within 1-2 meters of car so should be no need for extension cable. What fuse wire do you think is needed for the Tesla? Will I be alright with 15A or should I go out and buy some 32A?

Domestic 3 pin plug in question

I take delivery of my new pride and joy tomorrow and just had a thought.... Until I get a home charger fitted by an electrician, hopefully in the next few weeks, I simply assumed I could plug in to a domestic 3 pin plug in the garage to top up each night (I can charge at work). The consumer...

    UK Inventory cars... Price difference...

Thanks for the clarification on this. I’m test driving this weekend and in a very similar boat to yourself will be interesting to compare notes. Assume you’re in the 100?

Question to late 2017 and 2018 Model S owners

Thanks all, I agree no model is perfect. This will not stop me going with a Model S (I’m sold) just really if I wait a few months to potentially save the hassle of taking the car back to the SC. Would appreciate to hear your story Reachris re: air, if you have the time PM me.
