I have exactly the same problem. Tesla said they have to replace rear subframe harness due to corroded wires to the rear level position sensor🤔 They replaced both rear air springs including compressor and airblock 10 months ago.
In my case it was the electric motor that was shot - full of salt, corrosion and moist. The caliper itself was 100% ok. Tesla replaced both calipers. You can get new motors at AliExpress for 50 USD.
A group-lawsuit is going on in Norway as we speak which I am part of. Also in Denmark I believe. Regarding reduced supercharging-speed. There was an update 2019 causing this. Tesla has never officially mentioned anything about this, that's what provokes me the most. Had my 2014 P85 since new...
Got this today: ASY,P-TRAIN,SPORT,MECH,COMPLETE,18.5 RTR (1002633-01-T). 2014 P85. From what I can see this is a new unit. Fault message was "Power reduced - service needed". Glad this happened within 8 years of warranty:)
Yes,I know. Have had 21" for 4 years now. A couple of marks the first year before I learned. Now it`s all good. I like that the car is feeling more firm with 21" and airsuspension. These Slipstreams is 19" for wintertires:)
Hi! Bought a set of new Slipstream (grey) on the net for my 2014 P85. Will use them for wintertires.Do they fit without any problems? You see, on shoptesla.com they differentiate between VIN under and over 50900. Can't understand why it would be a problem. Maybe the TMPS sensors is the case...
A few times when I`m in a hurry I have forgot to set the car in P before I got out. Have it in creep mode and the car goes forward. This I think could be a reason for accidents like this. Hit the "gas" pedal instead of the brakes :eek:
