I have just looked under my car and have seen the same thing. The driver's side underneath the rocker panel there are some rectangular covers over cut outs, but the passenger side has these circular holes that expose a thin white plastic lining. Can anybody explain this?

Answering my own question, apparently the Plaid payment portal opens up a day or two before delivery. I wish I had known that before.

How does the Plaid payment process work? I have entered bank account details on Plaid but no payment has been made. Having read this thread I want to get payment completed and change password asap.

For my planned trip (Austin TX to Santa FE NM) I will need to charge from 40% to 95% at Sweetwater TX SC. Has anybody with a refresh S timed a similar charge? I'm hoping for 30 mins or less. fyi in my S85 and S85D I could not drive the most direct route and with slow charging the journey is too...

Charging is much slower over 80%. I usually charge to 100% at home before a trip, timing the charge so that the car does not sit at 100% for too long. En route I try to arrive at a charger with at least 10%. On atrip when charging overnight I charge to 80%+ then top off in the morning before...

Just read about the Mercedes EQE due next year. Claimed charging speed of 31 mins from 10% to 80% of a 90KWh battery. Does anybody have any real data on the charging speed of the refreshed S?
