It's more than just logging, they cache a lot of things there and they use the whole chip which leaves little to no room for wear leveling. It's a culmination of poor design choices.

Nope, that's not it. eMMC has all contacts on the bottom of the chip. It's a BGA.

Also do you have a pn on the harness/wiring? I need to swap mine out.

Is that an S or X? Mine definitely did not just slide out after removing those same bolts/screws. That was a 17 Model X.

The lots of work is the fact that the tuner is buried in the dash and not easily removed. Now if you want to you could just run the new cabling and zip tie the new one up under the dash but if you want it to be mounted the way it should be then you have a good bit of work to do.

Logging isn't the only thing wearing the eMMC down. They also cache all the music your stream there.... Lots-O-writes.....

This is not an MCU2 it is still MCU1. Yes, all the trim pieces fit all MCUs. No official asking price. Make an offer.

Forgot to mention that I will have to remove the trim from the MCU so it will not have one.
