you don't need to remove the big plug, just the 2 wires that split from it and run under the seat. should be very easy to press down on the tab and release.

It's a bit difficult to land an appointment, but i don't think Tesla service can do anything about it. I disconnected the canbus and don't need to close the trunk from the screen so I'm living with that for now.

you dont have to remove the full harness, just unplug the canbus connection (the one with two wires). Ill try to hook something up to it and see if i can read anything from the controller.
