    I am about to buy a used 2014 model s 60 with 80k miles for 28k. Am I making a huge mistake?

I would pass as well. I would not worry about the mileage, but rather battery size and outdated electronics.

New regen profile is LAME; can energy be dumped into heater?

Would be nice, if we have more options for regenerative level. Of coarse, not to harm the battery and car systems. Something like from 0 (no regen) to 5 (max regen) to choose, so we can keep enjoy one pedal driving. Would you agree?

When in 2020 to get a Model S... Check my thinking

I thought about it, and I bought 2020 Tesla model S with long range and standard colors, and it got delivered before federal tax expiration. I know, not the big thing, but still It won’t hurt. I will use this money for ceramic coating. Feel very happy now!

New long range won’t charge past 361 (instead of 373)

Well, it is not about what the extra 12 miles might get us to, but rather the question why it shows less, that advertised. I spoke with Tesla folks about it and this is not just my first Tesla by the way. Anyway, the way they explained things do makes sense. I asked them to run full diagnostic...

    2020 MS LR battery 100% = 362mi?

I have exactly the same situation with brand new car 2020 model S raven just today. I talked with them (Tesla Customer Service), That seems to be the norm. The same day, as soon as I got home, I charged it to 100% and it showed 362 miles range. Then, I take her for a drive to reach exactly the...

New long range won’t charge past 361 (instead of 373)

As I mentioned on another reply, I am in the same situation: 100% equal 363 miles On the date of delivery. The car had 6 miles on the delivery date. And, as soon as I got out of my garage I lost a mile almost immediately. So, basically 361 miles as you have. Here’s a choice for me: To have the...

New long range won’t charge past 361 (instead of 373)

Well, and verdict is: 100% equal 363 miles. Now I have to decide either live with it or return it.

New long range won’t charge past 361 (instead of 373)

Hmm, just took a delivery with showed 88% for 315 miles. ( 2020 M3 Long Range). Well, charging slow now to 100% and will post the miles. Will consider to bring it back if the total miles with 100% charge much less, than advertised.

When in 2020 to get a Model S... Check my thinking

Well my friend, I’m kind of in the same boat. Although I used to own 2017 Model S 75D and I still own Model 3 LR RW (my better half loves it). It was nothing wrong with Model S 75D, but I underestimated the range I need. My mistake of course. When you subtract 10% from 100% fully charged (90%...

    Cybertruck and superchargers

Well. To me, it is the electric vehicle at first, then it can be a pickup or SUV or whatever you wish it to be. The safe and convenient way to charge this thing overnight cannot be underestimated. TheTesla and other electric vehicle owners are very aware of that.

    Cybertruck and superchargers

So, it seems like a lot of folks would be very happy if the final CT version will be 5-10 inches shorter. It would fit in our standard garage, where we can charge it overnight. The same way we do it for our model S, X or 3.

Would You Buy a Model 3 Again Today?

    Yes, I would

Tesla model 3 Standard. Metallic roof option?

Right, I agree, I also cannot find any information about it. Hopefully we will know soon.

    Ceramic coating

I just talked with installer. He mentioned the Crystal Serum Ultra will cost more, like like $1599. You know, I understand the Tesla, especially Model S and X ,are expensive cars. But I never had the car that expensive before and I just don't mentally accept to pay that much money, so it will...
