Tesla Semi 11/10 - return from Crash testing

I wasn't offended, and I don't know how you got to thinking I was. I didn't know that it had a second meaning and I did think that there was crash testing involved so naturally the passenger airbags would have fired off. Go easy on me, OK? I don't follow the Tesla Semi very much and it's not...

Tesla Semi 11/10 - return from Crash testing

/ At a minimum, I noted a lack of an exhaust system, fuel tank "saddlebags", and it was missing the usual accoutrement such as cabling for trailer lights, chain for securing load, and so on. I don't follow on the airbags, I see the silver as more of a tarp caught in the wind. Thanks @Olle...

Tesla Semi 11/10 - return from Crash testing

Hey everyone! I believe I took photos of a covered Tesla Semi Eastbound on Nov 10 on Interstate 80 in Citrus Heights by the truck weigh station at around 3pm. If you look, you can see a very clean back wall to the semi, the silhouette looks about right, there's no exhaust pipes or other burny...

Wiki Sudden Loss Of Range With 2019.16.x Software

Thanks for reporting, and my sincerest condolences. As a 2013 S60 owner and 2012 S85 Signature owner, I had long since assumed Tesla was ignoring my cars, save for some poorly-tested video games that don't run well on the older hardware (despite emulating a system 100,000x slower than the CPU...

    Anyone Guess How Many Pre-orders

At least a fist full of pre-orders in Minnesota were made. It wasn't a line of 1200 people waiting in the rain at the store like the Model III. I think what's happened here is that there was absolutely no /wow/ factor, it was predictable, even down to how it would look. With that in mind...

    Software Update 2018.48.x

Same here. I was expecting it was not having autopilot for Pole Position. I sure wish they would fix these things, the bugs are so obvious that you don't want to show it off to anyone. The missing score info on the top of the screen is most obvious. I mean, they could not muck up the user...

North Dakota Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

Is that the 1st or 2nd iPace in Minnesota?

    Supercharger - Alexandria, MN

Dirty from an electrical signal perspective? Wow.

    Supercharger - Alexandria, MN

Superchargers are on hold until the end of this quarter or the next quarter by Tesla so they can show profitability. Heard that from my internal source/employee.

    Minnesota Superchargers (location speculation, discussion)

Those are likely the urban superchargers. Designed for apartment dwellers and the like.

Blog Elon Musk Groans About Delphi’s $450M NuTonomy Acquisition

I knew it. The GM Bolts are going out and getting drunk at bars which is why they are driving slowly through intersections and erratically. Makes perfect sense. :-P Thanks for the extra details, I appreciate learning here.

An Open Letter about My Model X Body Repair Experience...

The Eden Prairie Service Center only takes customer repairs to one shop in town, even though it is not the shop that was servicing Roadsters for years before even the Model S was around. I know the shop you are dealing with and that's a consistent experience: long, expensive, and the blame...
