Has anyone done this mod? I keep getting personal messages with questions so i know people are thinking about it. Post pics if you have--not interested in the TS sportline bumpers etc..

i just bought the lower skid plate (plastic under car) cost about $280. I thats the place of the 2 plastic pieces in the old bumper version. Meaning you will remove old bumper with front lower plastic attached and then the one farther back (under car) and the new one will take their place.

keep the lower spears.

Chop110, I used fiber flex that comes with the plastic welder kit. Make sure to cut the 3 slits i recommended prior to bending. Also, i used 3m adhesion promoter prior to doing the primer. If you are filling the holes for the parking sensors( like i did) make sure to smooth the plastic...

No more mods for me on this car -- I've been doing too many projects :(

I painted the bumper myself in my garage. Sorry for the confusion.

Yes there is a large gap under the car;however, I dont think there will be a problem of collecting rocks since the area doesnt allow for that. Westchase didnt give me any problems ordering but i had to wait a month for some of the parts ( thats when i painted the bumper).

The cuts were made at the far edges where the piece makes a horizontal v shape. I cut in the middle of the v horizontally. Also cut a vercital slit vertically above the t sumbol and welded it shut.
