I have always had this problem since I got the car in June last year. If I do not open the app before attempting to open the door, it wouldn't unlock. I would think the passive unlock worked 3/10 times at most. I'm getting used to the habit of starting the app always now before I try to unlock...

I will be out of warranty in about 3000 miles so I am trying to fix everything haha! The MCU 2 upgrade was announced recently so if it fails, I'll just use that opportunity to drop 2.5k to upgrade...I just hope it lasts that long.

Hi OP, since u didnt buy AP at time of delivery, was it there at all since it is technically an SR+ for now? If not, was there a trial?

For SR owners who did not purchase AP at the time of delivery, and since they are basically delivering SR+ until a software update is available to downgrade, did it come with autpilot? If it did, was it a "trial?"
