    Frunk fails to unlatch consistently

I have this same issue on a '23 MSP. While I was there, there was another MS driver who had the same issue. They "resolved" it, but truthfully I don't use the frunk enough. I haven't popped it in a while. The only thing that works consistently for me, is to immediately pull up as soon as I...

‘23 Refresh Plaid frunk doesn’t fully open

Dropped it off today and they need to keep it over the weekend. While there, happened across another person who had the same issue. Weirdly enough, he was picking it up after bringing it in for the same issue a second time. A tech came out and fixed his issue, but doesn't feel great that he...

‘23 Refresh Plaid frunk doesn’t fully open

Thanks! I'll keep my appointment for Friday and let Tesla fix it I guess. It's definitely the second latch as it sounds pretty awful when I have to yank it up right as it's unlatching. It's almost like it's catching on something.

‘23 Refresh Plaid frunk doesn’t fully open

I got some lithium grease and greased up the latch nicely, but while it worked the first couple times I popped it, this morning it got stuck again. Seems like it's the secondary latch that doesn't want to let go. Just for reference, did you spray the latch (the part on the hood), or did you...

‘23 Refresh Plaid frunk doesn’t fully open

Thanks for the offer! I'll try to grab some and try as you suggest and see if that fixes it. Thank you for the tip!

‘23 Refresh Plaid frunk doesn’t fully open

Were you able to get this resolved? I have the same issue, where I pop the frunk and the frunk doesn't want to open. Mine is a 09/23 build MSP.

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

Had my service done at the Bellevue, WA SC. Ended up replacing 2 TPMS sensors as they couldn't resolve the issue by just replacing the one that wasn't reporting. Separately, the note about software update for vibration, the tech noted "vehicle software update not necessary at this time." and...

    Plaid Vibration around 38-42MPH....

One of my TPMS sensors failed, so getting that fixed on my '23 Plaid. I saw this was added to my service invoice as well, so I'll be curious to see what happens. I do feel a vibration but feel it less so once i swapped to Chill driving. I have just learned to live with it, but curious to see...

I have 2 that I ordered but then never installed and have since traded in my vehicle. PM me and we can figure it out.

No "software update available" notifications since V11

What version were you downloading when it popped up?

No "software update available" notifications since V11

This still seems to be going on for me, anyone else? iPhone 13 Pro w/ latest iOS and latest Tesla app. Received the FSD 10.10.2 update today, but was not notified. Happened to open the Tesla app and saw it was available.

Repeater camera feeds are mostly useless when turn signal is on at night

He turned the wheel popped off the clips from the bottom of the fender, pulled it out and slid his arm in and unclipped it from the back. He said repeater camera replacements can be a bit tricky because they sit directly on the body and aren’t attached to anything underneath so the tolerances...

Repeater camera feeds are mostly useless when turn signal is on at night

I went ahead and bit the bullet and created a service request in the app. They sent me an estimate for $300 to replace both repeaters and I accepted it. The mobile tech came by today, swapped out both repeaters. Had to update the config on the car and just like that, new AP repeaters...

    M3P Drive unit failure?

Sadly they didn't. They said there was some voltage issues and tried to narrow it down between the inverter and the drive unit. Ultimately ended up replacing the drive unit. For what it's worth, car drove like new after the swap (and my butt dyno made it almost feel faster than it was...
