@Troy I changed my AWD order to a RWD. I got a VIN already, pick up date 10/30.

The reservation (1000) and deposit(2500) were put on June 3rd and June 6th 2018 respectively. However that was for a AWD which I changed to RWD 2 weeks ago.

I've just (today) been assigned a VIN of 32xxx. Considering now VINs are above 100xxx this seems low. However it is for a LR RWD so my guess is they are filling in holes in VIN number that were not assigned. Or this is a model left behind in California. Either way I am curious about the...

So it happened. I was told that I have a VIN (although they did not tell me the number). And that I will get another phonecall in 1-2 days to schedule delivery. Considering I changed from AWD to RWD on Thursday, I got contacted 4 days later. Not bad!

Non-owner, AWD, White, Aero wheels, EAD, no FSD. reserved 7/3/2018 (back when they still required $1000 reservation deposit) ordered 7/6/2018 Window now is Sep-Nov. Pick up in central Florida (Winter Springs I think).

This thread really should be about AWD non-P as those cars have their own queue, manufacture and delivery time. Clearly P models will be shipped to customers sooner than non-P AWD which is why knowing when non-P AWD starts shipping is important for a lot of people (me included).

Woohoo!! They actually changed my AWD dates from Oct-Dec 18 to Sep-Nov 18 !!! They must have re-calculated their queue and car production throughput and think they can deliver ahead of original estimates. Consider me happy :)
