      Part 3...

I have a service appt and would like to drive another M3 to compare. I drove 3-4 M3's when deciding to but a Tesla. I remember them being rougher than my other cars but didn't think they felt less than solid on hard hits.

      Thanks for any thoughts!

I'm not sure what your question is. My Model 3 is not as solid as my 340i was and my Model 3 has actual rattles in the cockpit that Tesla have still not sorted out over 9 months of ownership. If your question is about expectations, I would say that Tesla being a new kid on the block is not at the level of German or even Japanese automakers in this area.

part 2 of message due to character limits....

I am wondering if the deck behind the back seat is a cause. I can tap on it and make some loud noises. I also wonder if the hallow sound from the floor above the battery pack behind the center console could be a source of my sound issues.

Hi, I'm curious to get your input.

I own a Chevy Bolt, a Nissan Leaf and now a LR RWD Model 3. I've come to terms with the M3 being a "rougher" ride than our Bolt or Leaf. But the M3 doesn't feel "solid" when going over our crappy Ohio roads on hard hits. I can't really call them rattles but it's nowhere nearing that "billet of aluminum" feeling. Mine is all from the rear.
