    LMoto is still testing their 3/Y batts looks like. The S and X models dont seems to be having any issues., Call them directly if you want. They answer the phone. They offer a 60 day no questions asked money back guarantee. Sounds good to me. They make to order so, not always " on the shelf ready...

    A bluetooth " voltage sensor" would give the driver information as well to see how the car is using the battery. LithiumMoto is supplying these as an option I see.

    The Mod 3 and Y 12V lithium bugaboo certainly is vexing. Looks like LithiumMoto.com/tesla-12v-battery is currently looking for "testers" to try out a new lithium workaround.

    Interesting.... I didnt know the Tesla supplied 12V battery had only a 12 month warranty. I think everyone is aware that all the replacement lead acid batteries are STARTER Batteries, right ? Starter batteries dont like being deep cycled. I'm sure 100 degree heat takes its toll on the lead acid...

    Sad part is, he paid $439 according to the ohmmu website. I got mine from Lithiummoto.com/tesla-12v-battery and paid $275. Maybe repurpose the old battery as emergency 12V power supply or something.

    Seems like the logical thing would have been to replace the 12V battery and see if that helped matters before towing car away. Sometimes lead acid batteries fail for no reason. Getting a battery quickly is a pain thats why I got mine from LithiumMoto. Price was'nt bad either.

    many vids online on installing the older S's.. Lithiummoto offers a perfect fitting and only a few mm small than original and costs less than ohmmu too.

    EarthX ETX900 12V Lightweight Lithium Battery Tesla Model 3

    The Etx battery is simply a hi rate starter battery. not a deep cycle battery. nothing special about it except for the high price. Are u saying the " fix" is to use a starter battery type ? There are other suppliers of similar lithium starter batteries as well.

    The Model S and X's dont seem to be having any problems with the lithium batteries like the 3/Y's. I got mine from LithiumMoto and its all good.. saved a few $$ also.

    Hmmm, Your not looking very hard... Lithiummoto.com/tesla-12v-battery has been supplying lithium batteries for Teslas for quite a while.
