Refresh Model X & S Waiting Room - AUSTRALIA (Orders cancelled by Tesla May2023)

When I bought mine in 2015 autopilot would soon be able to drive across the country, stopping and charging itself along the way, to pick you up and drive you where you like. I’m surprised they haven’t been sued for making misleading claims several times over already. Surely ’soon’ is at least...

Refresh Model X & S Waiting Room - AUSTRALIA (Orders cancelled by Tesla May2023)

All the above recent conversation just shows that different people have different proirities in a car. But there is no denying that the EQE is a genuine alternative to the S for many and Tesla’s radio silence on pricing and availability will cost them sales.

Refresh Model X & S Waiting Room - AUSTRALIA (Orders cancelled by Tesla May2023)

EQE released in Aus today with January delivery dates. Will this prompt Tesla to announce a price and delivery timeframe?

Refresh Model X & S Waiting Room - AUSTRALIA (Orders cancelled by Tesla May2023)

I think this is a case of wishful thinking. If orders open up for UK then it won’t be far off. Until then its vaporware.

Refresh Model X & S Waiting Room - AUSTRALIA (Orders cancelled by Tesla May2023)

Does the European updated S and X have a CCS port? Or still need an adapter.

Refresh Model X & S Waiting Room - AUSTRALIA (Orders cancelled by Tesla May2023)

I’m in the same boat. Given up on a tesla option to replace my 7 year old model with a new X so now waiting on what the soon to be announced EQE SUV will look like or the Polestar 3 specs, price and delivery time. While they may not match Tesla in tech and raw acceleration, at least those...

Refresh Model X & S Waiting Room - AUSTRALIA (Orders cancelled by Tesla May2023)

Any EV is currently faster than the imaginary plaid Tesla in Australia.

Chademo could also come in handy for the OG Tesla drivers that have the adapter gathering dust in the frunk.

The Universal Mobile Connector is no longer standard equipment with new orders after 8 July 2022??

One point to note is a $550 accessory if part of the car purchase price is actually more like $750 drive away price when lct and sd is added. Better that it’s separate.

    Tesla Model Y in Australia

For me I got an email and it’s in my account on the website. I’m guessing for Perth the pickup location is Perth so no choice.

The longest EV charging network in West Australia

While the 2.5c is not huge what gets me is they say it is to replace the tax lost from petrol sales. As far as I can tell my Model S when purchased had a battery worth at least $20k in it and that battery attracted tax through import duty, lct, gst and stamp duty of over $13k meaning I...

    Superchargers in Australia

Thanks. At that price it’s probably not worth it for me. Disappointing. But don’t want to take this thread off on a tangent.
