TouchScreen unresponsive on incomplete charge disconnect

I’m not disconnecting that end obviously 🤣 Pushing the button on the charge handle makes the light on the car change color and releases the lock.

TouchScreen unresponsive on incomplete charge disconnect

Hello Tesla folks, i am experiencing a weird new issue where the touchscreen doesn’t turn on when the car is unplugged from level 2 chargers before the charge limit has been reached. This has happened multiple times on 3 different level 2 chargers (work and home), using different J1772 to Tesla...

    Update 2032.38.6 Issues

The worst part (to me) of the one pull implementation is that the system disengages when you put the indicator on to change lanes resulting in the car suddenly slowing down in a line of moving traffic. Not sure who thought this was a good idea! I've turned off one pull as it's no use to me, and...

Charging Port door closes immediately after opening

Doesn't help me as I'm too slow to get from the drivers door to the charge port before it has closed again :p Seems to be working normally again now, but service is coming to take a look. I'd guess it was snow / slush / ice that had got in somewhere and either blocked the up sensor, or was...

Charging Port door closes immediately after opening

Just started having this problem this morning too. Been working fine for 2 years and suddenly I can't open the charge port by pressing on it I have to open the port from the app, but it tries to close instantly, so I have to hold it open while I plug in the charge cable, then it closes on to the...

    Maine Electricity Tariffs - CMP A-TOU-OPTS, A-TOU and A-LM

I just quickly ran the numbers for my situation on the AELECTECH rate mentioned above based on my consumption for the last 2 years. We have 2 heat pumps providing all of our heating and cooling (added a 3rd this summer for better balance) and a Model Y (which I can charge at work) and consumed...

    Trunk won’t consistently shut

Have you checked that the "leather" tab for lifting the floor is not interfering with the latch? I saw this a couple of times when the car was new. The tab laid in the latch pocket preventing the trunk from latching closed.

    2022.12.3.1

Having the same issue since updating to 2022.12.3. Never had any problem previously (for over a year) now every time the car sits for any length of time the red X is on the dash cam icon. Usually I can make it go away by just formatting the "USB" from teh safety menu, but this obviously wipes...

    2022.8.2

2021 MY LR. No FSD, Radar equipped. I've noticed that AP seems to wander in the lane much more since I got 2022.8.2, struggles to stay in the lane on bends more than before, I also get much more frequent "forward collision warnings" when traveling on empty back roads. The rear corner sensors...

    Efficiency stats at 11k miles

I just passed 14K miles after 9 months in MYLR 2021 with an average energy of 287Wh/mi. Typically drive at speed limit +5mph ~50% highway, roof bars installed for all but 500 miles. 15% of the total miles were towing our teardrop camper. Just finished a 1200 mile Christmas roadtrip to Maryland...

    MY Floor Mat

I got the TuxMats and I really like them. Had 3D type ones previously (not going to name them, but you can find my honest review of them too if you look) and the fit was not good. Tuxmats covers everything carpet looking :) My review is here - Best All Weather floor mats for MY

Best All Weather floor mats for MY

I took the leap and ordered the Tuxmats. They arrived yesterday, which was really quick! My complaints with the mats I already had was the gaps around the edges and the limited coverage on the dead pedal (Original review - Vendor - Floor Mats), which are totally taken care of with the Tuxmats...

Best All Weather floor mats for MY

@hammick - Excelent write up. I might consider these for the snowy Northeast winter, as the Maxpider type copies I got really don't fit that well and the gaps allow stuff to get on to the carpet, which isn't a big deal in the summer months, but not filling me with confidence for snow / slush! I...
