I understand the possibility of protecting the battery on a hot day; however, since it took until the following morning to regain A/C, notwithstanding all the resets and resting I attempted, I don’t think I can chalk this up as normal or acceptable.

I apologize but I am not familiar with that..? My sample size is only 2 but I am pretty convinced by the circumstances that it was not coincidental. VIN 5YJYGxxxxxx023347. Delivered July 2019.

I was on 2021.4.12. Charged for about 20-25 minutes total and A/C died at about 10 minutes. We were in the car watching Netflix when it happened both times.
