did you ever get this done? I'm interested in doing this to my 2017

This just started happening after the recent software updates, hopefully they fix it. I have android and 2017 MS. Worked perfectly all these years until a few weeks ago.

actually my latest issue, which im also not too worried about is that it wont let me chage to 100, it stops at 97 or 98. have you experienced that with your car when trying to 100? I normally charge to 80, so I dont really charge to 100 ever, just for long trips.

I have the same exact car as you with about 61k now, its about the same range, it settles in about 8-10% degradition. I wouldnt worry too much about it, even the stated range of 335 was not really accurate, in real driving conditions.

I did start charging at midnight and I monitored when I woke up, when I woke up it still had a few hours remaining, it never reached 100. i do have a sevice call set up next week, be interesting to see what they say. Also, Tesla replaced my battery in August. So its only been a few months...

So i let it run down to about 9%, let it set for about hour an half, then set to charge to 100, and it stopped at 97% this morning. So it didnt work. Unless I needed to let it sit longer at single digits?

Did you ever take it in for service to see if there is something wrong with the battery?

I did that yesterday, but to 10%, let it sit for about 9 hours before plugging in to charge.

I set my car to 100 but said charging complete at 95. I have a 2017 model s 100d. Is this normal? Out of all my years, it always charges to 100 if I needed the extra range for that day. Normally set to charge to 80 everyday.

Cause no other option was working. 2017 has the emergency release from trunk? I tried to find mine didn't see anything

I eventually used my key fob to open it holding the trunk for like 5 seconds, then it opened the port and all the other options started working.

Sounds similar to my model s 2017 100d if you read my post I just posted. Did you get this resolved?

Any ideas why this is happening? Seems like the car is in a deep sleep and takes a while to wake. you get in the car and nothing turns on. so far it just happening in the morning when we first turn on the car. Doesn't happen every day.
