3 Torx screws hold the motor and wormdrive to the back of the caliber. Be careful to undo the ones that hold the wormdrive, not the 2 that hold the motor to the wormdrive. But if you do pull just the motor, go back and pull off the wormdrive as well.

Symptoms:
car gave errors that "Parking was disabled" (or something like this)
I had trouble putting the car in park (would only go into R-N-D, and even that was inconsistent)

Is the outcome for most people that they have replaced the sway bars? Looks like a common issue, and easy enough DIY (hardest part is taking the wheels off). I wish I had thought to look when I took the wheels off to do the headlights!
No, I never solved other than taking one of the 2 keys out of the car to get it recognized. I suspect it has to do with one of the keys having been reprogrammed at one point, so was going to sort it out next time I went into Tesla.
I am experiencing an Issue with my 2015 Model S not recognizing key when 2 key fobs are in the car. It only happens when the 2 keys are in different parts of the car, and can be worked around by moving one of the keys outside of the car. Clicking on buttons of one key doesn't help.
