I have a 2020 M3 with white interior. Honestly, I have never noticed any reflection in the windshield from the white strip on the dash, and I live in sunny California. I would rather keep driving my existing car, than getting a new one with black interior. So I will be holding out!

Most probably you will be ok with black interior. White interior is “problemo”!

Yes once I asked them to check the vin. Theirs start with “L” (China) ours begins with “5” (Tesla, Fremont)

I have used no protective coating. Have wiped a couple of times the front seats with a mixture of Dawn and water. I hear baby wipes are good too. The back seat is hardly used. Of course I don’t have small kids or pets to ride, and I have made a habit of not putting “stuff” on the seats. Always...
