Had the number come in at 100k or slightly higher the stock probably would have hung in there until the earning's announcement where the focus would have been on GM's. If in fact order backlog is up, missing the number by 2k or 3k isn't a big deal and the focus on the call will be did the GM...

Just did a 2,000 mile road trip with V10. Prior to this I had never had the phantom breaking from shade/shadows under an overpass, but it had it happen at least 2-3 times during the trip. Other than that everything worked better than before IMO.

Seymour is the worst of the bunch. He was the one who was categorically saying that unit volume was going to be down 30% or something to that effect. I don't mind their guest having opinions, but they never are held accountable, and in this case they are a source fo the major Tesla FUD machine...

It seems like the V10 software was pushed out faster and to more people. Hard to guesstimate what the revenue recognition impact is going to be or if/it will be discounted into the stock price, but the table is set for a big revenue beat. I think it is safe to say we will see at least sequential...

Just last week one of the clowns said units were going to be down around 30%, and he said it like it was the gospel.

TSLAQ FUD was alive and will on CNBC this afternoon. I do think Musk has been his own worst enemy at times, but what they were saying today was borderline if not slanderous.

CNBC TSLAQ machine at it again. One of the regulars was throwing out what sounds like some ridiculous numbers. Something like Model 3 down 30% y/y.

You can feel the global EV tail winds starting to be an uplift to the stock price, and even some of the skeptics are starting to see that while Tesla will lose marketshare over time, but of a much, much larger pie, the EV only focus of Tesla has given the company a pretty significant competitive...

Agree. As masterful a job at Musk did with courting the Chinese and getting GigaFactory3 online, I wish he would do the same in the U.S. to alter and enhance the large investor base.

If there isn't quarterly sequential unit growth with at worst margin stability if not improvement the stock is going to get hammered.
