Those who reset score - how soon after reaching 99/100 (100+ miles) did you receive FSD Beta?

I've been at 99 for two weeks and no Beta. I was hoping that other club members would give me an assurance that it was coming soon. Oh, well. Elon said in the earnings call that 60,000 owners have it, and my impression was that the company thinks the more the merrier. So what gives?

Elon Musk on The Joe Rogan Experience

Elon's behavior in the interview gave me more confidence in Tesla. Yes, a conventional suit would never have toked on an alleged joint in a public interview. That he did shows that Musk is maybe a little crazy. Halleluja! If Musk weren't a little bit crazy he would never have tried to start an...

    Model 3 Route Selection Mode?

My wife just picked up her M3 and loves it. One issue that's come up is the apparent absence in the nav system of a way to set route preferences. She doesn't like to take expressways unless she absolutely has to. Yet it seems that the system always lays out the fastest route possible, accounting...

    CHAdeMO Adapter

I received my email from Tesla yesterday and ordered the adapter. I also signed up with NRG eVgo to use their CHAdeMO station in San Diego. Finally, I'll have a fast-charging option.

Caution: Backup Warning System Imperfect, Hood Design Creates Optical Illusion

Hi. I took possession of my P85D at the end of January. I've already scraped it three times while parking, despite moving slowly and being extra careful. Here's how it happened. I was relying on two occasions on the rearview camera and the sonar and radar alert system. These normally work...

P85D range and highway battery performance

Musk tweeted two days ago: Elon Musk @elonmusk · Dec 23 Software update to achieve max efficiency (going to full idle on 2nd motor) is not out yet. Range of P85D should then closely match P85+. This is excellent news. The P85+ has an estimated 265-mile range.

    Tracking P85D delivery thread

My Model S P85D (VIN 62942) has been delivered to San Diego (12/25/14). It went into production on December 6th. It won't have the next gen seats in the rear, which I'm told is the case for most, if not all, D's coming off the line. The seats are backordered. Vehicles that have been shipped with...

Supercharger - San Diego, CA (Qualcomm / Pacific Heights Blvd., 12 V2 stalls)

I have a sneaky feeling that the twelve bays at this supercharger site will be pretty active. What would be the least busy time of day? I want to plan ahead. ;-)

Supercharger - San Diego, CA (Qualcomm / Pacific Heights Blvd., 12 V2 stalls)

The location's decent, a few blocks from the 5/805 interchange. If the objective is to site the SCs to facilitate inter-city travel, it makes sense. I'd bet this isn't the last SC to be installed in the San Diego area.

Supercharger - San Diego, CA (Qualcomm / Pacific Heights Blvd., 12 V2 stalls)

I asked the Supercharger team about the location and this is what I heard back: If "working on" means constructing, and "in that area" means Pacific Heights, then it's probable that Cosmacelf's site is a Supercharger in the making. But there are too many unknowns to say for sure.

    Tracking P85D delivery thread

Just got word that first "D" deliveries arriving in San Diego. Mine, which began production on 12/6, is in the testing phase. Getting close!

First P85D adopters stuck in black hole

From the scant communications Tesla reps have sent out, it sounds to me that the problem wasn't with the seats but with the airbags installed in the seats. From what I can glean from the net Tesla wasn't caught up in the nationwide recall of Takata airbags. The company, however, most likely buys...

First P85D adopters stuck in black hole

I ordered my P85D on October 13th. It went into production on December 6th. I was informed on the 12th that it had reached the mid-way point on the assembly line. That means only that it has gone through half the stations. Normally, production takes about five days for a P85. The D's production...
