    Normal for a 100D model X to have a range of 330km?

    SImilar...mine's Oct 2015 MS 85D. Completed charge range was 390KM, now 352KM.

    Kennedy Town Service Centre

Actually it's in Shek Tong Tsui, not quite Kennedy Town yet, 444 Des Voeux Road W. I think it was previously VW showroom.

    Kennedy Town Service Centre

Yes, good to have a service center on the Island. I originally booked to my annual service in Tsuen Wan and later changed to Kennedy Town. The reception said the center was not as busy. May not last for long...

Getting in touch with service centre

I am a little luckier with the service center. Damaged my car key and called them for a replacement on Monday. Left a message and tech support called me back in an hour or so, scheduled a visit tomorrow to have them replaced. My quite limited experience with the service center has been ok to...

    2017 FRT Renewal

I could be wrong but I don't think the budget has to be voted down in its entirety to get our way. All it takes is to convince the FS to retract his "proposal". John Tsang did change his "sweetener" from depositing $6000 into our MPF account (or something like that) to a $6000 cash payout some...

    2017 FRT Renewal

2020...that doesn't sound too far off. My 2015 MS would last that long, I hope. Separately, with the number of EV probably stalling at current level (plus whatever have been ordered) for some time, I wonder if the government's initiative to install EV charging bays in public carparks will come...

    LTE not working

My MS is 3G as well. I just called technical support. Apparently LTE is only available for new cars delivered since Oct last year. Right now they have no plans to upgrade unless your 3G modem needs to be replaced. I suppose you may request to replace the modem but they may charge for that.

New member. X order and super charging

Congratulations Ken! Regarding charging, it depends a lot on your mileage. I'd say if you will drive more than 80k/day, it is imperative that you have access to home or work charger. I rely a lot on Cyberport SC. For the past year my experience there has been good (short waiting time if at...

    Would you buy another Tesla?

My next car will definitely be an EV, and I suspect it will most likely be from Tesla. Totally agree with Captain_Kong above regarding the trade off between performance/technology and build quality. I am lucky enough that my one-year old MS has not had any problem that requires a service center...

    Super charger @ Cyberport

Oh by the way, as Hobbies point out, SC while watching movie is not exactly a good etiquette. It takes about 1.5 hours to fully charge a car (unless one goes real low on battery) while a movie is easily 2 hours, if not longer, plus walking back and forth etc. That's assuming the driver comes...

    Super charger @ Cyberport

I usually SC at Cyberport too. My experience there is quite good...maybe I am just lucky. The wait is typically less than 10 minutes for a queue of no more than 2 cars. I wouldn't wait if I am the third in line unless, of course, the battery is down to the last few percent. I have the luxury...

Calling all Residence Bel-Air owners who want a charger installed

Hi FishHead, in upper Baguio visitor parking lot, there are two Tesla medium speed chargers (30 amp). They are great. I usually supercharge in Cyberport. The upper Baguio chargers, as an alternative, give me the comfort of almost-certain access for $18 an hour. I find installing such chargers in...

Tesla Chargers at Upper Baguio Villa visitor CP

The Tesla charging ports in Upper Baguio Visitor carpark. Located right at the entrance. I believe they are now operational.

Tesla Chargers at Upper Baguio Villa visitor CP

Haha, yes indeed. The visitor parking lot is undergoing refurbishment so I presume it does not look like this anymore...at least I hope it doesn't. And yes, the chargers they mounted are the typical Tesla wall chargers, 40km/hour.

Tesla Chargers at Upper Baguio Villa visitor CP

Two were newly installed though not yet operating. Great move by Tesla. Residents have an extra option to charge. I hope more will be installed in other estates.
