Hope you had time to visit the creamery and have a bowl of Blue Bell!

    Press the horn…get voice activation.

I had this exact same thing happen to my 2019 Model S. The mobile tech came out and replaced a wiring harness in the steering wheel. Problem solved.

What are your home electricity rates?

Northwest Wyoming here. Our power comes primarily from hydroelectric. $16/month fixed charge plus $0.05604 per kWh. Pretty cheap!

I tried later to book something online, and the system allowed it, only to be followed by a cancellation and this email a day later. Dear Tim, We truly value your loyalty to Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty and regret to inform you that your car rental privileges – and associated service program...

I've had the opposite experience. Have rented Teslas numerous times through Turo, always had a smooth and pleasant experience. I like that I don't have to go to the rental car counter or the rental car lot. Hertz, on the other hand, has stranded me twice (once by not having any cars, and once by...

Why does Home Depot tell me to not use an extension cord with the demo hammer I rented

Because due to resistance, voltage drops over the longer length of the extension cord. Power tools are designed to run optimally within a specific voltage range. Too little voltage can cause it to overheat and eventually fail.

Creaking/Squeaking control arm ball joint fix

Could be. I've given up. Goes into the shop Sep 18. Needs a couple of other things I've been putting off, so get it all taken care of at once. I'll drop it off in Salt Lake City, as I'm flying to Montreal for the week, pick it up when I get back. Free parking for the week!

Creaking/Squeaking control arm ball joint fix

xmodx has the runny grease photo. I only injected grease into the ball joints. And mine doesn't make any noise when I just turn the steering wheel. Squeaks/creaks when going over bumps.

Creaking/Squeaking control arm ball joint fix

Yes, have put 30+ miles on it. Overfilled the boots such that grease squirted back out of the needle hole. About ready to take your approach and hose it all down with grease... Still have my appointment with the service center, so eventually they will get their shot at it too, if I can't fix it...

Creaking/Squeaking control arm ball joint fix

OK, I've greased all the upper and lower ball joints/boots and the squeaking is still there. Driving me crazy. Ugh.

Creaking/Squeaking control arm ball joint fix

No, just the upper control arm ball joint.

Creaking/Squeaking control arm ball joint fix

I greased the ball joint and I lubricated the sensor arms. And I drove about 50 miles the past couple of days. Still squeaking like crazy. Any more guesses? The car does have 100,000 miles on it. Edit: think I will disconnect the ball joint and swivel it around by hand a few times to get the...

Creaking/Squeaking control arm ball joint fix

My front end is creaking as well. Tesla has "remote" diagnosed and sent me an estimate in which they plan to replace the right and left front "air suspension height sensor assembly". $105 each for parts, and $129 each for labor. Plus general diagnostic fee. Seems dubious, but since I also have a...

    Screen Blacked Out

I have a 2019 Model S. Mine has done that twice now in the past 3 months, but never before then.
