To consolidate learnings, we should continue this conversation on this thread.

    Highland FSD?

Picked up my LR Highland yesterday. Same problem, though I have a newer, and .100, release: v11.1 ⁦(2024.2.100 fa23b694c4aa)⁩ I have to say that Tesla transferred the FSD “ownership” from my 2018 Model 3 to this one seamlessly. I was using FSD in the 2018 the night before I picked up the...

    Ear pain/Pressure help

I'm just catching up on this thread, but I wanted say that I think that's very true. I just did an experiment with our late 2020 Model Y in a quiet garage. Turned the climate control on, set the fan to 1, and turned the AC on (I'd hear an almost subsonic boom when the compressor engaged, very...

Using the SolarEdge App, how to tell if you have as bad optimizer, Panels?

Thank you so much for that info! Tesla flat out refuses to connect my inverter data to SolarEdge, so this is the only way I've found to find out if any of my panels or inverters goes bad. #SometimesTeslaReallySucks

Model 3 Highland (US) Waiting room

I ordered a few hours after you and mine went from Jan-Feb to Feb-March as well. Looks like we ordered the same Blue/White 18" car!

Tesla launches Model 3 Highland refresh in North America - No Performance model listed as of 01.10.2024

Can 100% back this up - getting it on my wife's 2020 Y involved getting a package mailed to me (the hardware) and having a mobile Tesla guy set it up (didn't know about service mode if it even was an option back then).

Great photos! Did you happen to check for a front bumper camera?

Do Tesla Powerwalls Discharge in Parallel or One at a Time?

I have three Powerwall 2s. Each one can supply 5kW, and the three in parallel can provide 15kW. Obviously if I'm drawing more than 5kW, at least two Powerwalls will be supplying power. But if I'm using 3kW, does one Powerwall supply 3kW while the other two are idle, or does each Powerwall...

Route 66 Road Trip - Superchargers?

Did you really just call California “Cali”? How could you have lived so close to Frisco for so long and do that? I thought I knew you.

    Stay away from SolarEdge inverter

Agree you’ll never see peak, but couldn’t a 10.4kW system could produce more than 7.6kW on a clear, sunny day? Guess It depends on panel orientation. It wouldn’t be a large loss, probably less than 1 kWh on only those very sunny days (clipping the peak of the normal curve of solar...

    Hansshow Dashboard Touchscreen V2

Sorry, no. Sold mine. Actually gave it away, since the guy I sold it to said it didn’t work (it was working when I removed it) so I refunded his money and just wrote off the whole thing.

    New Charging Behavior

I had a similar problem yesterday that went away in the afternoon. Can anyone tell me how to find my Powerwall firmware version? All I can find in my app is the Powerwall Gateway version (currently 22.18.3 21x0ad81). But it sure sounds like I'm having 22.26 issues...

    Powerwall/System Misbehaving Today

My plan is set to Time-Based Control, with peak rates starting at 3PM. I have my Powerwalls set for 60% Backup / 40% Time-Based. For the 8 months I've had the system, it's basically worked as expected. Powerwalls start charging up when the sun rises, generally they reach 100% by noon or so...

    2021 Model 3 wind/whistling noise

Just tried some tape on my 2018 Model 3 and instantly the whistle I'd gotten used to was gone. In my case it wasn't because the piece wasn't snapped in, I think it was because I had chrome deleted and the film they used created some sort of unexpected airflow. Thanks!
