Glad to hear that someone who leaves their car parked in a supercharger overnight got billed. Great work tesla
YOU'D GET A LOT BETTER RESPONSES if you wouldn't shout. All caps is considered a rude, and very annoying, way of posting
I'm on SS, military retired E7, I have a S. Decided at 74, I take all the equity out of house and have a wonderful senior life. Ain't looked back yet. Will get new one in 2020 if still alive.
You realize that most Tesla employees recommend a NEMA 14-50 as adequate? (And speaking from 7 years of experience, a NEMA 14-50 is MORE than adequate. It's what I recommend to everyone.)
This is not an issue.
The BMW vs M3 pictures remind me of Blackberry vs iPhone circa 2007. I forget, which one did the market ultimately choose?
If you post on TMC you've probably had a pretty decent life...so who freaking cares if your state of the art electric car has a fake suede(oh...I mean Alcantara...from the rare and mythical creature of the same name) or cloth for a headliner? To appease the masses, an easy Tesla fix could simply rebrand the new headliner material. How about...
Cross posted from my post in Bimmerfest Forum;
My current BMW is a 340xi that I've leased for the past three years. In fact I extended the lease a month as I had not yet received the car I ordered to replace it.
Replacement car is a Tesla Dual Motor Model 3.
I put $1000 deposit on the Tesla back in April of 2016 after the "big...
That was far and above the best conference call Elon and team have ever given.
Regen does not belong on the brake pedal, it adds unneeded complexity and poor brake feel. Tesla got it right.
So, I just finished some initial testing of my latest modification to the yellow P85 (the one that has retrofitted autopilot hardware). Haven't gotten a lot of pics or videos together yet (roads have been wet from melting snow, so not great conditions for testing), but I can't resist sharing some initial details.
So far the car is a ~570HP...
Picked up VIN 1913 today at the Fremont Delivery Center! Wife's named her "Tessie Little" and is thoroughly enjoying it. :)
The delivery experience was rather lean; quick paperwork, a bit of a wait as the car was still being prepped and a relatively straightforward walkthrough with the Tesla person. Didn't think much of the indoor spotlight...
took delivery of my M3 and am loving it :)
Those who know me, know that I am a big Tesla and TSLA fan and investor. Since 28 dollars. Am an Elon cheerleader. Taking delivery of my third car, a P3D on the 29th. Have a 2013 Model S85 (trade in I think) and a Sig Model X.
Can we PLEASE stop talking about the how shorts are trapped and desperate every time the stock pops five percent....
I got up early and waited in line on March 31, 2016 to reserve a $35,000 model 3. I was about #30 in a long line of a few hundred. Right before I went in, I called my husband and asked if I can reserve two. He said, "absolutely not! You shouldn't be in line reserving one now, that's crazy."
Over the next two years my husband tried to talk me...
December 8th will be our three year anniversary. A most happy anniversary at that!
Ownership came to be through a confluence of events. We were happy Jeep owners but our second one was on its last legs after 150K+ miles so we were already new car shopping. We weren’t happy with the 20 mpg SUV’s were getting and began looking at hybrids –...
I'm sorry, could you clarify... since they can sell every last higher margin Model 3 they can make, with only a third of their global market even able to order, despite them trying to scale up production as fast as possible.... exactly why should they switch focus to their lowest margin configuration?
This sort of concern trolling gets old...
So in 2008 the Market crashes and billions are lost. The outcome is no enforcement by the SEC.
Now we have a CEO who act's in his investors best interest and he is being sued by the SEC.
The irony is so thick it is suffocating.
It’s difficult to wait for the model 3 and I know many may want to give up. I was one of the lucky ones in that my brother, a current model S owner stood in line for me in California the first day and it was delivered to Texas. So that was April 2016 to January 2018. I know many are having to wait much longer and are frustrated. I hope you...
Based on your input, we have decided to remove all software performance reductions tied to frequent max power usage. These changes will roll out with our next software update (in about three weeks).
We had put these reductions in place to proactively protect the powertrain from wear and tear. Instead, we will monitor the...
At the Marina Del Rey delivery center last night, just as I was finishing signing my paperwork, my delivery specialist said "Alright, let's take you out to your car." At that very moment, another employee came up to him and said, "Actually Franz is going to take him to the car."
The first thought that crossed my mind was "Franz.. as in, von...
